Great sound and value for the money!We set these up on a DW set in a complete enclosure and have been very happy with the sound!

Best budget mics available. The stands and clips work just fine, though, I'd suggest investing in separate cables.

For the money, this seems like a great set. Because of the fact this came with a Kick stand as well as two additional boom stands is why I got this one. Everything seemed to hook right up and all operational with my Interface. It included 4 rim clips which allowed me to get everyone connected. Some of the mics have a bit deeper/muffled sound that that I don't like (Snare) but I may be able to fix that in my DAW. Also, I wouldn't really recommend these for vocals since they don't seem to have that clear crisp sound but for a full drum set, I am happy.In time I will upgrade these mics one at a time to higher quality but if your looking for a good starting point this is a good way to go and if I had to do it over again, for the money. I would choose these

This kit does not come with incredible microphones. Don't expect them to perform like Sennheiser MD 421-IIs or something like that where 1 mic costs as much as this entire set. Similarly, these are not incredible, pro-duty stands.What the mics and stands in this kit *are* is worth *way* more than what I paid for the set. They do perform beyond the price point, and completely satisfied the need I had, which was to try to recorded my acoustic drums at home instead of using the electronic kit I usually use for home projects. With careful EQ and gating in my DAW, I was able to get a very reasonable drum sound entirely from the products in this kit, and I bet you will too. Again, this kit represents value WAY beyond the dollar, providing means to mic your bass, snare, toms, and overheads for your cymbals and the room sound.The one quibble I have is that I was unable to get the rim-mounted clips to work on my Ludwig set. I tried putting them on a Pearl snare drum I have and couldn't get them to fit there either. I couldn't tell if they just didn't fit or if I was doing something wrong, but it felt like if I kept pushing them further they were going to break. I'm going to look into that more and hope that I was just approaching it wrong.
