Awesome little truck!
The media could not be loaded. Got for my 6/yo son’s bday and wow it’s very fast! Had to turn down the speed for the first 15-20 mins but he’s on full speed at this point and we love it! It’s a serious RC truck and will take a beating. We put the wheelie bar on and installed the lights that came with it which was a nice surprise. I opted for the 2 batteries and the 2yr warranty so should have fun with this thing for a while. Battery lasts about 15min fyi

Fantastic
I have to say this thing is pretty dang tough! Have been running this little truck hard, sending it off large jumps and several skate park trips, nothing has broken yet. (knocks on wood)It is fairly quick, but not as fast as it's MJX counterpart. It jumps well and is easy to control. It also allows you to turn the speed down for younger or less experienced drivers.Love this lil truck!!! And it shouldn't break the bank!

Shockingly Durable
Immediately took it to a mountain bike dirt jump area and beat on it for an hour. Huuuge jumps, drops to flat, gigantic end over end crashes and an unfortunate 10' huck off a ledge which landed directly on the roof did not phase this tiny monster. You will definitely want the 3-battery package deal because you'll be going full throttle the entire time. This truck is probably best suited to a skatepark or BMX dirt jump area rather than the woods because leaves, mud, pine needles really slow it down (it is pretty small). However you will get your exercise going to recover it after you huck it off every available cliff. Highly recommended -

A great RC basher for everyone.
I bought this truck because I’ve seen video after video praising it for its durability, and I wanted to expand my RC collection with something inexpensive.Since my purchase, I’ve bashed it at the skate park multiple times, and I’ve crashed it pretty hard multiple times on concrete. However, not a single thing has broke. My other brand RC truck has came home from the same bashing sessions with something broken almost every time.I don’t run my RC toys super hard, so I’m getting around 16 to 20 minutes of run time per battery pack. This time includes a random amount of jumps, turns, straights, and more jumps, all on concrete. Your runtime will vary based on how you drive, and on what surfaces you drive on.Handling can be a handful near max speeds and during hard acceleration from a standstill. Plus, on smooth concrete I experience understeer during hard cornering. These things are reasonably expected because the tires included on this truck are meant for dirt.I’ve not tested nor used the battery charger. So I have no idea how long it takes, or any other details about it. Instead, I use another (expensive) charger that is compatible with all types of RC batteries and connectors.Pros:Cost effectiveDurableBrushless motorAdjustable speed control (to help beginners)Replacement parts seem to be available online.Fun!Cons:The battery compartment doesn’t allow for larger batteries.Replacement parts will be shipped from China (longer wait times for US customers).Overall, I really like this truck and I have fun with it every time I take it out!

Broke already with only 3 days of playtime
Approximately 4-5hrs of active playtime and it already stopped working. Wheels still turn but the truck doesn't drive forward or reverse. Would often lose signal. Right out of the box, I already had my doubts. It came in a different model RC truck box but the actual product looked like the HBX 16889A Pro. The wheels were shaky and makes a grindy noise out of the box. I didn't want to be petty so I still decided to keep it until it finally stopped working. I wasn't even riding it hard at all. I would only drive it in our cul-de-sac with no crashing. The only reason I bought this because I keep seeing HBX 16889A Pro as very durable on YouTube but every time I click the link it takes me to GoolRC 16889A seller instead of HBX amazon store. Maybe I just got unlucky and received a defective one but this is my experience with the product I got.A week prior to this, I purchased HBX 18859E 1/18 scale from the HBX amazon store seller. My son who rode the 18859E hard in water, sand and slammed it on curbs and pavements yet it still runs strong. This 70$ abused truck outlasted a 160$ protected truck.I am hoping I just got a bad batch because I want this particular model. I may update this review in the future but for now I bought the Non Pro version of 16890A from the HBX amazon store seller.

Tough rc truck.
Got it for my sons bday and now I want one for me. It has hit some stuff hard going fast and just keeps on going. This truck speeds right through high grass without any issue. Tons of power. We actually keep it on the lower speed setting for my son and that still has some serious speed/power. Very satisfied. Battery might give ya up to 20 minutes on a full charge so getting an upgraded battery that last 45 min or so isn't a bad idea. 20 minutes is still a lot of fun though. Will catch some serious air off a ramp.

Nice little truck
It’s fastAlmost too fast, but is that ever really a problem? I did turn down the speed adjustment at first, until I got the feel for it.Money well spent
