Complete Waste of Money
The mathematics is completely missing. There are no worked-out example problems anywhere in this is book. There are 1268 multiple choice questions with four answers each. In every question at least two of the four possible answers are "Thing", "Person", or "Undefined".Students at the level of Vector Calculus do not need review questions like this one from Chapter 7: "A _______ is one of the basic shapes in geometry: a polygon with three vertices and three sides which are straight line segments." The four choices for the correct answer are: triangle, thing, undefined, and undefined (again).Vector Calculus appears at the very end of most Calculus 3 courses. By the time you get here you should have a grasp of differentiation and integration of single and multi-variable functions.Roughly 90% of this book contains basic definitions from lower level math courses. If you need to be reminded what a rectangle is (Chap 4, Question 135) or that "notation" is used to represent mathematical ideas (Chap 8, Question 143) you should not be taking a nasty, upper-level STEM course like Vector Calculus in the first place.
