The Year in Tech, 2023: The Insights You Need from Harvard Business Review

The book covers all the aspects of contemoprary technologies and their application in industry and academia

I am a current Yale MBA student and this is one of the best HBR resources and business/tech books on the market.+: Easily digestible articles on the most important technology issues facing society today. I believe this is the single, best resource on the market so far that summarizes all pertinent tech issues via in-depth, cogent short articles.+: Improvement from the ’22 book. In ’23, I felt that there are more unifying themes across each chapter. Similar writing style, and as far as business books/HBR publications go, this is definitely not a dense read (which is a huge plus) and I feel empowered how I can seamlessly go through the book/jump across chapters.-: Lacking of data. As a business book about tech, not much raw empirical data is included. A suggestion for the ’24 version is if additional resources (URLs, Excels, etc) could be supplemented to the reader for those who want to dig in a bit deeper.It’s incredibly proactive how the ’23 version of the book is already released while we’re still in 2022. As a strong reader of this subject, I wish there is also a monthly magazine-type version of this, so I won’t have to wait an entire year for the ’24 book!
