We needed a way to split our SDI camera input to two separate computer systems (primary and backup). These have been perfect. Picture quality is awesome on both outputs. We've got 4 of these as we have four cameras in the church. They have been working perfectly for us. Setup was about as easy as you can get. Plug and play basically. You can't go wrong if you need to split video.

Completely unreliable. Worked well for 2 days, then our video sources started flickering the image. We replaced the jtech distro with a major brand, and it solved the problem. I'm returning all the jtech stuff I just recently bought.

My Blackmagic production switcher was unable to isolate camera audio for my Aux outputs to my 4x2 3Play Instant replay system. The SDI splitter work perfectly to get my camera feeds to my replay system and production switcher. A great buy and way cheaper than buying a video production router.

I rarely write reviews, but my interactions with J-Tech Digital deserve special recognition. I ordered 3 of these units based on 1) functionality, 2) form factor, and 3) price (the least important factor). The items that I received did not match the form factor shown in the Amazon listing, and were too large to fit in the space available in my application. I emailed J-Tech about it and received a reply very quickly, and a resolution to my predicament shortly thereafter. They quickly shipped out 3 of the units that had the size listed, and sent me a pre-paid return shipping label to send back the original items. The fact that the original items didn't match the description in the listing is certainly a demerit and may rightfully be viewed as an oversight by the company, but it isn't an uncommon thing for this type of product from other sources as I've sadly found out of late. But the speed and professionalism of the customer service to remedy the issue has been nothing but superb. Yes, the item didn't match the description, but people (including me and everyone reading this) make mistakes despite the best of intentions. It's how the mistakes are handled that separates the good from the bad and I am here to tell you, the J-Tech people are good.

At first this worked well but after a short period it stopped working. I don’t recommend buying this unit.
