EZ-HANG by HANGMAN EZ-FS18B Floating Shelf, Neutral

Truly easy to hang, just a few nails. Recommend to add 3, add more based off how much weight you are gonna put on it. The length of it is about the size of a spray bottle witch is perfect since I planned on putting all my car detailing stuff on it!For $30 bucks it's by no means top of the line and has a slight tilt forward but you can't even notice unless your looking really hard then again it might be due to my half a$$ install right when I got home from work!

When I read the description, I wanted to believe. I've installed lots of shelves in the various places I've lived. Most I've cobbled together to be more functional than good looking. Usually I use more securing force than needed because who can find a stud right where you need it, so you use the wall anchor and end up with a much bigger hole in the drywall than you had hoped.That's why I wanted to believe. A sturdy shelf that could be installed with only nails, small nails that wouldn't leave big holes in the drywall. Nails that would be completely hidden. Nails that you could use more of if you needed to hold up more weight.And the shelf--powder coated black (white also available, as well as a clear finish so the underlying silvery metal shows), sleek, sturdy. And level because the manufacturer provides a little level which fits into a groove on the cleat with is going to be attached by the nails. You get your cleat set with the level in the groove, you drive the first nail into the center hole (it automatically guides the nail at an angle to maximize the holding power), then you use the bubble in the liquid to get the cleat exactly level, then you put a nail into either end hole. Just keep adding nails until you have sufficient holding power for what will be placed on the shelf. Remove the level tube and your shelf is ready to hang.Finding the proper angle to get the shelf into position to engage the cleat is not as difficult as I thought it would be. And once it is set it looks great. It is the perfect shelf.Exactly as described, very quick delivery, really good product which comes in a nice variety of sizes. My wife has already identified several places she wants one of these shelves. Highly recommended.

This is so easy to hang! Simply hammer the silver metal piece into wall... 17 tiny nails go through holes in top of silver metal bracket. Once I got one of them in, I used the provided small level to be sure bracket was straight. (I used end of a screwdriver instead of hammer.) Once bracket is in place, simply slide the shelf onto the bracket. Super quick and easy, and VERY sturdy. In fact, I didn't use all of the nails - - bracket felt sturdy with only 3 nails. (Disclaimer: not saying 3 nails is enough, but seems like it is. Will confirm with hubby.)The shelf looks good/modern and is deep enough for 2 very large styling tools and long enough for the 2 tools plus a small clothes steamer. Yes, I'm using this in master bath over my outlet to hold items that I want left out, but not taking up space on countertop.Very happy with this shelf. Will likely buy more to place above nightstands, and perhaps more to stack above to have even more convenient storage - - off of counters!

I got a different floating shelf for a bathroom, and spent 45 minutes trying to get it installed. I nearly destroyed the wall behind it but “almost” got it level. Frustrating, to say the least. Then, I got a Hangman floating shelf and it changed my life! OK, maybe it didn’t change my life, but it sure made installing floating shelves infinitely easier and quicker. I was so impressed, that I got a second Hangman floating shelf (this one). I really like the sleek look of floating shelves, and thanks to the Hangman system, floating shelves are accessible to everyone.The Hangman system, makes installing a floating shelf ridiculously easy! All you need is a hammer and a level, and it takes about 3 minutes—seriously! This really is an ingenious system.
