Eat healthy and get fit!
This is a great book for anyone wanting to get fit and eat healthier whilst still keeping the cooking fairly simple. Although it’s the same idea as another popular 15 minute meals book, I personally find these recipes much easier to follow and, unless they state otherwise, are more often than not genuinely 15 minutes. The book is split into 4 main parts: Reduced-carbohydrate recipes, Post-workout recipes, Snacks & treats and Pyramid resistance HIIT training. The introductory chapters talk about how the plan works and gives a good pep-talk to get you motivated to changing your habits. There’s also a really useful meal/workout planner to help you plan out your week. While I wouldn’t use this book for all my weekly meals, I still use this to plan ahead. The sections for recipes are split depending on when you’re going to eat them (e.g. post-workout, snacks etc.). Whilst not every recipe has a photo to accompany it, there’s definitely plenty to give you a good idea of how the meals should look. One thing I like is most of the recipes are for one serving, meaning you can easily adjust to suit the number of people you’re cooking for. One of the major difference in this book is there are no calories listed anywhere. This is because you’re advised to listen to your body and concentrate on the type of food and when your eating it. I found this took some getting used to, but it definitely beats calorie counting every meal! The last section is the HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). There’s minimal equipment needed (I use an exercise bench and a set of dumbbells) and each exercise is explained in detail. I also found if you want more variation then search ‘The Body Coach TV’ on YouTube for lots of video workouts. Right at the end of the book there’s some inspirational ‘before and after’ photos. I should point out that these are photos of people who have completed (or currently completing) Joe’s 90 Day SSS (this is a paid for personalised diet and workout plan). Overall I think this is a brilliant book – along with the other two in the series – and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to change their current eating habits. It's definitely my 'go to' recipe book at the moment!

Must Buy
Great book with easy and delightful recipes full of flavor and low in carbs n saturated fats. I always think of diet food as bland and mostly fresh veggies and sprouts. but this is full on cook book with wonderful recipes from all around the world which pack a punch. loved the indian and middle eastern inspired recipes. the exercise plans are also easy to follow and not too hard on a beginner. Joe Wicks is a wonderful cook and a body trainer and his understanding of human body and its metabolic sense is spot on; as a biologist i can say that.
