Great beginner wheel
The wheel works well but kinda low. I'm 5'9" and my wife is 5'6" and we both found it too low sitting at a height of 10 inches off the floor to be at the right height with the wheel. If I was to purchase again I would buy the one with the separate foot pedal. I had to raise this up about 6 inches to work at a comfortable height sitting on a 5 gallon bucket making it very awkward to be able to use the foot pedal elevated off the floor. The lever works fine but sometimes the foot pedal is helpful when trimming. It doesn't look like there is an easy way to convert to a separate foot pedal. This may not be an issue for you and it is a great wheel for the money.

We like the wheel thrower but the try leaks so you’ll need to put something under the try like towels or bags

Used and dirty, missing parts
I ordered apotters wheel with carving tools and apron. The box came being up, torn and with tape everywhere. Once opened there was dry crusted pottery clay on the handle, the wheel. After being mad I cleaned it. Theneteal wheel had rust stains on it. No pottery tools or apron were included. Very disappointed this was suppose to be the highlight for a birthday present.

wheel is off balance right out of the box.after turning it on and setting it up there is a loud thunk with every revolution and the wheel jerks to the side.The "adjustable feet" have what used to be a phillips screw head in the bottom of them and a hex nut between the foot and the frame. whoever assembled this decided to crank them on so hard theyve rounded the screwheads out and driven the feet so hard against the frame that you cant get a wrench in. this wheel is not adjustable. Its impossible to center anything on the wheel much less attempt to throw anything. if i could give 0 stars i would.dont buy this wheel its not worth the disappointment.
