Knits from an English Rose: 25 Modern-Vintage Accessories

I've already started a scarf from this book. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It's probably not for beginners, but if you can follow a pattern you should be fine. I'm a little concerned about the size of some of the pieces, but as both a plus size woman and an experienced knitter, I think I can enlarge them successfully. Even if you only do a couple of the designs, this book is worth it. You certainly won't see anything like these projects in any store -- at least not in one I can afford.

I am so happy that I took a chance on this book. The cover is just one of the beautiful items in this book. The scarves, purses, hats and more make this a book one that I'm sure I will use over and over again. The instructions are clearly written and the photos display the detailed beauty in each project. Thanks Louisa Harding for this awesome edition to my knitting library.

This is one of the most useful knitting pattern books I've ever bought. The designs are delicate and lovely and, with careful effort, I have been able to make several of the items. That doesn't always happen with knitting books! I feel encouraged that I'll be able to have several more successes with this book.

This book has many gorgeous patterns, and they are easy to follow. I would have liked less hat and mitten patterns and more shawls and other clothing, but there are a few fantastic pieces that should not be missed!

Louisa Harding has done it again, this book is stunning! It is knitting eye candy! The photography is beautiful and there are some wonderful patterns in there that I can't wait to make. I always enjoy her books because the instructions are well written and she includes patterns for beginners to expert knitters.

The photos are some of the most beautiful that I have seen. I am about to start several pieces from the book. It has taken me forever to narrow my choice down to these few. I want to knit all of them, but cannot.

Very nice lacy patterns! Not for beginners, unless you want to be challenged.

Knits from an English Rose is such an elegant book. The pictures define fashion beautifully. Louisa Harding is an excellent teacher and designer. Her designs are beautifull written and simple to follow. I want to make everything in this book.

Easy to follow patterns with yarn suggestions. Really useful addition to the library. I have already made one of the shawls and adapted it for my yarn.

Have just looked through this book for the first time and all I can say is WOW! Beautiful and elegant designs throughout the book - everything you would expect from Louisa Harding. Am seriously considering starting at page 1 and knitting my way through all 25 patterns. Can't recommend highly enough!

Borrowed this book from the local library, loved it so much I had to buy my own copy.

I can't wait to start knitting. Her designs are as always utterly gorgeous.
