At first glance they match the ones I got at the box store. Honestly the box store was a bit cheaper but I was to lazy to go get more. I'm glad I was lazy! Outside form is exactly the same, however the inside part where the spline goes. Is substantially thicker for support. See picture the top is from the box store. Only complaint you can tell these are cut fast, the ends are a bit rough. No issue for me, I'm doing 45 degree cuts, so that will go away. Tip don't waste your time with the plastic corners go get a miter box, do the 45 degree corners and use the metal corner brackets. The plastic give not strength, bent my first one trying to install it. The plastic corners let it twist and turn. I was able to cut them all with a miter box and hacksaw. To make the screens I used 5/16 screen frames, 0.155 diameter spline and the 5/16 stamped aluminum frame corners. This screen frame is really nice - very sturdy but easy to work with. The corners we bought (same brand) are so much more sturdy than what had disintegrated in our old screens and were very easy to install in the cut frames. We found a rubber mallet came in very handy to seat them. Overall we are very satisfied with these DIY screen-making products and have enjoyed a nice Saturday project. We purchased pet-grade screen that our cats (hopefully) won't destroy so we can let fresh air in and keep the bugs out.
