Genuinely felt a different
Tried and tested brand for tea but didn't know they do supplements!I definitely felt a difference and even coming into winter months I did not get a cold/flu this winter for once, I am convinced this supplement helped.

A good but pricey supplement
This Daily Immune supplement from Pukka is supplied in a foil bag inside an attractively decorated 2 piece cardboard tube. The tube halves were further secured with tape on arrival. My pack has a usefully long BBE date of January 2024. The recommended dose is 2 capsules per day giving this 60 capsule pack a potential life of 30 days. Pukka are a well known UK premium brand and we regularly buy and use their herbal teas. These tablets appear to contain good ingredients and they are also suitable for vegans. The capsules are a fairly standard size and shape and are easy enough to swallow. It is usually a good idea to take them with a good glass of water or food to ensure they are washed down the oesophagus. I have had no side effects from these tablets but it is still early days. I will update this review if any more useful information emerges as I consume the pack. The cardboard tube packaging looks good and is fairly environmentally friendly but the foil bag a bit less so. The advice for storage says to fold over or clamp the foil bag and use within 3 months. The latter should not be an issue for normal daily use but I cannot help feeling a more traditional glass bottle and cap would be a more practical storage solution. Then, there is the price, which would make for an expensive monthly bill, if used regularly. That said this is a quality product. Sure, the packaging is perhaps a bit gimmicky but that should not detract from the supplement itself. If these capsules suit your needs then they are probably an okay buy but for me, I am not sure they are as practical as they could be or cheap enough for regular long term use.

These have much to recommend them
I use a lot of Pukka teas so was expecting a quality product. I had already tried their night time, mind focus and the inner peace capsules and was pleasantly surprised how effective they were. So I was keen to try out this supplement as it is good to feel like we are giving our immune system a bit of support.Unlike the other Pukka supplements I have tried, it is not so easy to ‘know’ how effective these are being other than perhaps ‘not’ getting poorly. These capsules are a combination of reishi, shitake and maitake mushrooms as well as acerola fruit. A bit of research shows not all mushrooms are the same or have the same benefits:- Reishi mushroom can enhance immune function through its effects on white blood cells, which help fight infection and cancer- Shiitake mushrooms are high in B vitamins, and they serve as a food source of vitamin D. Some shiitake health benefits include the ability to aid weight loss, support cardiovascular health, fight cancer cells, improve energy levels and brain function, reduce inflammation, and support the immune system- Maitake mushrooms are a nutrient-dense food low in calories, carbohydrates, and fat. Maitake mushrooms are a plant-based source of vitamin D, B vitamins, choline, and zinc, which are typically found more often in animal sources. They also provide other minerals such as phosphorus, magnesium, and potassium. There is some research looking at the synergistic effect these might have when taken with each other. In addition acerola fruit is rich in vitamin C and also contains vitamin A, thiamine, riboflavin, and niacin. So there seems a lot to recommend the range in this combination. As with any supplements it is important to check if any components may react with conditions for example pregnancy, breastfeeding, under going surgery, under lying medical issues or with any medication. These are one month’s supply if taken 2 daily. They are a usual capsule size. The best before is long – 2 years and it advises using within 3 months of opening. The packaging looks quality, very similar to their tea and is compostable. The capsules are stored with the carton in a sealed silver bag. They are more than I would usually pay for something like this but suggest an effectiveness in building up immunity so am likely to purchase more especially once the bad weather kicks in. Definitely recommended.

Pukka Herbs | Daily Immune - 60 capsules
I have been using Pukka products for years, both the teas and supplements so I was very pleased to try this Daily Immune supplement. These tablets from Pukka Herbs contain a blended formula with shiitake, maitake and reishi mushrooms and acerola fruit extract. The recommend dose is two capsules per day. So this pot of 60 will last one month. At current selling price this is a premium product and may not suit everyone’s budget. The packaging is a cardboard tube with compostable film bag, for supplements I think I would prefer a glass bottle with a metal lid - as this stores better. As with all supplements it can take a while to see any effects but if you persevere you should get great results. Easy to swallow with no aftertaste.

The people who make tea!
Who knew Pukka do supplements?Been drinking their tea for years, and now they do supplements, too. Brill. Also can't sing the praises of mushrooms enough - their health benefits are myriad, and this supplements are a festival of mushroomy goodness. The only problem, really, is the price for the amount you get. I've had other mushroom supplements that were just as good, if not slightly better, and they were more cost-effective. You're definitely paying for the Pukka brand name here. So, they're goof and mushroomy, but there are better options (normally in tincture form, in fact!) available out there.

Pros and cons
There are pros and cons to these supplements. They are easy to swallow, they don’t have an overpowering taste and they come in very nice packaging. I am a big fan of Pukka Herba in general however I think these are very pricey for such a small quantity.
