Commercial II Non-Stick Mini Loaf Pan Set, 6-Inch-by-3.5-Inch, 4-Count

I have been using these pans for over 50 years! They are incredibly durable...I use them constantly and can report there is not a dent on them. They are as tough as can be. Admittedly a little more work to clean, because the corners are right angles and not rounded, and because the pans have more seams/folds on the outside. Nonetheless, they are so worth having if you are a serious baker. Every now and then, a gentle scrub with some Bar Keepers Friend or Bon Ami powder, and they clean up beautifully. In case you are wondering, these 4 pans hold a volume of batter equivalent to a 9" springform round pan. I will take a recipe for a 9" springform and instead use these pans to make 4 loaves to give away as gifts.

These little pans are terrific. My banana bread baked to a perfect doneness and came out of the pan very easily. I did use olive oil spray and a dusting of flour, but you can do that with some pans and it doesn’t help.

The walls are very thin--almost like disposable ones. So of course the arrived with a dent along one side of each of them. They are so flexible that I could easily straighten them out, but just picking them up bends them. I guess they'll work. Chicago Metallic, MADE IN CHINA, of course.

These are great little loaf pans for baking a small quantity. I've made banana bread and blueberry loaf and everything turned out great! These pans came highly recommended by ATK and they really do live up to their recommendation. Nothing sticks. All the loaves I've baked came out easily without leaving a residue.

I line the bottoms of these pans with a strip of waxed paper that hangs over the ends. This makes it very easy to remove the loaves from the pans.

I love these pans. I was given tons of zucchinis last summer and was having trouble figuring out what to do with them. A friend suggested that I freeze the batter in small amounts. This works out great. My daughter love being able to get the batter out and make 2 mini loaves all on her own. They are fresh and the no stick serface allows the loaves to come out unscathed and looking great. The only thing negative I would have to say about these pans is the design. On the inside of them at each corner is the seam where the metal was folded. Food bakes into these cracks and makes it a little bit of a challenge to clean them out. I don't wash non stick items in the dishwasher so scrubbing these by hand is a little harder. But I found if you soak them immediately after you take the bread out in hot soapy wate, the food tends to come right out. I also use a toothbrush (one only used for dishes obviously) to scrub in those cracks and that has made getting the food out a lot more easy. All in all, I would definitely recommend these pans. The little loaves make a great little basket stuffer for gift baskets and such.
