OWO Wine Vacuum Pump and 4 Stopper, Wine Save & Preserver, Reusable Air Remover Pump, Keeps Fresh (Stainless Steel)

I started using one of these maybe 10 years ago. I generally drink red, my wife drinks white. It is common to have a partially filled wine bottle at our home. These vacuum stoppers keep the wine fresh for several days or even weeks. Basically, remove the air and the wine doesn't degrade. At least not at a point I would notice. I purchased this to replace a similar product which finally failed after 10yrs or so. It works great, and when sufficient air has been drawn out, and a good seal formed, it "clicks". Its a nice bit of feedback, almost like a torque wrench once you have reached the proper setting. My old one didn't have this feature so you just kept pumping it until you guessed it was enough. Now I know. It works with the standard stoppers I have purchased from Amazon, and the originals I had from my first unit. It was a good purchase. I highly recommend it.

OK, it takes me a few days to finish a bottle of wine since I'm the only one who enjoys a glass every now and then. This is very easy to use and rather than pulling it up to create the vacuum, the plunger handle creates the vacuum pushing down. The seal is effective to maintain a vacuum seal. The rubber tops are effective as well. I usually rinse these before putting it on the bottle to ensure a clean and secure seal. It "whooshes" the air back in when the little valve is released. This is the second wine saver since the first one literally died. I can offer a high recommendation for this effective and economical wine saver.

I thought this was an OXO product, but apparently it’s a knock-off. Still does the trick. Holds a vacuum on my vermouth and sherry bottles for weeks. The caps are a little narrow so it can be tough to get a good seal on wider bottles.

It feels a little loose in terms of the fitment of the piston in the cylinder, it seems like if it was tighter it would get better vacuum. But it definitely works to pull out enough air to keep a bottle of wine opened and tasting good for at least a month if you pour and immediately cork and pump the air out.

I have had a product like this before. After several pumps it should suck the air out and get harder to pump. I pumped for several minutes and there was no suction. The wine was bad the next day. I tried several different stoppers but none of them worked.

The rubber stoppers are just a bit too small and to maintain a seal I have to pump again after 12 hours or so. Pumping quite a few extra times per effort does not seem to make a difference, but for short periods of time this works to seal well.

I love a glass of wine with dinner but then the bottle goes into the refrigerator so I use this constantly. I would not be without this for the world. Love it. Really does what it is supposed to do. Very easy to use and long lasting as I have had it for years. If you drink wine buy this you won't regret it.

I purchased this one for when we travel. It works great. I have my first one to friends for them to try. These things keep an opened bottle of wine fresh for easily month or more. Probably more.

I wish I'd bought one of these sooner. Our wine would go off in a matter of days after opening, however since buying this, we've kept a bottle open for about 2 weeks and it still tastes just as good. Yes you do have to pump the vacuum a fair few times, particularly if the bottle is on the emptier side as there's a lot more air to displace, but for the price, this thing is so worth it.

The product is brittle and broke after 2 uses

I usually only have one glass of wine a night, And this keeps it fresh. I also love the idea that there are 4 stoppers. You do need to pump it about 50 × 2 make sure there is no air, But it works perfectly
