Here are the flaws
Ill start off by saying, you cant even buy direct from this company, i tried, and i tried because their website is the only website where you can 'design your door' but when you click on the link to buy it, you're redirected to a generic store page which makes you sift through EVERY door they sellI actually had home depot help me decrypt their model numbers so i could find the option i was looking for..... but wait, theres more, the model numbers are different on each site based on the frame colors!Oh, and the only reason i used home depot to decrypt the model numbers with me was because when i called up Basco, they told me to F-off and talk to a distributorThe little blue plastic thread inserts suck.... they're really thin so when you try to get them snug, they break in the wall.... i ended up pulling the side channel off to drill the hole slightly larger to put in other beefier thread inserts on the ones that broke, and when i went to snug it up again, 1 more of their cheap ones broke in the wall.... it was at the bottom so i stopped caringThe etched mark on the tempered glass is at the top, AND upside down..... i understand that its mirrored and not positional per door, but why did you install the roller bracket to the glass upside-down? Itd be fine if the etching was at the bottom where no one looks, but it literally ended up at eye-levelThe friction-fit handles.... kinda suck, not only are they insanely hard to push on, but once you do, youll get the 1 that kicked out the vinyl shim and at that point youre done dealing with it because you spent 30min getting the handles onThis product was cheaply made, and i say that due to the lack of quality control, and the lack of fine-tuning the small detailsAlso, my tub has a lip on the edge, and heres the funny part, the bottom channel was really close to being able to go on top of that tub lip, however it was literally like 2mm shy on depth, so i lost that extra inch of width in my shower i was trying to attainThe side channels also arent directional so the problem with that is that they are symmetrical H-beams, qnd the issue with that is when the shower head hits the door, the side channel acts as a diverter and diverts the water outside of the shower.....Its not all negative, the finish on the metal looks decent, and I assume it wont grow stuff as bad as a curtain.... but thats about itMake sure you have something that cuts metal to trim the top and bottom channels to width, and clear silicone, i used plastic razor blades to clean up the silicone cause i spread it by finger

Impressed with My New Shower Door
The reason I think this is a really great product is because of its durability. It's easy to clean and the installation was a breeze. The door is definitely worth the price, the sliding mechanism is smooth, and it closes securely. Not to mention, the brushed nickel finish adds a touch of elegance. It fits perfectly in my bathtub. Highly recommended!

Safety, this glass can fall and break
Basco semi frame less tub enclosure called the classic. This door is poorly engineered and has the potential of having the glass fall out when the cheap little hanger clamps slip off. After a week or so of use a hanger clamp slipped off the 1/4 inch thick glass door. After taking the clamp apart I found it three tiny screws and a couple of dabs of what looked like sprit gum to hold up the glass door. I used silicon and new screws on this first hanger and after removing and replacing the door numerous times I got to to hold. The rest of the clamp started to slip immediately, so off them come again to re do all the clamps. These came installed from the factory and I could see some kind of goop squeezing out onto the glass before they started slipping
