Wir benutzen dieses Geschirr für unseren Großpudel (anatomisch: großer Brustkorb, spitzes Brustbein - da ist er sehr empfindlich)Positiv:- Sehr guter Sitz, wenn der Hind direkt neben dir läuft (am seitlichen Fixpunkt)- läuft der Hund weiter vorne, sollte man den mittleren Fixpunkt auf dem Rücken verwenden, dann ist der Sitz auch sehr gut- gute und hochwertige Verarbeitung- Kein Druck auf das spitze Pudelbrustbein- hervorragende Schulterfreiheit- gute Freiheit an den Achseln- sehr gut einzustellen, auch wenn die Größenanpassung einfach ein paar Spaziergänge dauert- gut über den Kopf zu ziehen, da Öffnung als Schlaufe einfach zu vergrößern ist (gerade auch bei schlappohrigen Hunden sehr empfehlenswert)- unser Hund spricht sehr gut auf das Geschirr an- 2 mögliche Punkte zum Anleinen- kein Druck auf den Kehlkopf- scheint auch für den Hund sehr angenehm zu tragen zu seinNegativ:- es muss genauestens eingestellt werden- der seitliche Fixpunkt (Geschirr auf Zug um den Brustkorb) funktioniert nur, wenn der Hund neben dir läuft. Läuft er zu weit vorne, zieht sich das Geschirr schief und in die Magengegend. DIES SOLLTE UNBEDINGT VERHINDERT WERDEN!- das Geschirr muss ggf. öfters beim Spaziergang korrigiert werden- leider sehr geringe Reflexion im DunkelnFAZIT:Absolute Kaufempfehlung! Super Geschirr zur Korrektur, aber auch für den normalen Spaziergang.PS: am Fahrrad würde ich es allerdings nicht einsetzen, da ich Bedenken wegen dem Zug auf die Halswirbelsäule hätte, selbst bei Verwendung des mittleren Fixpunktes auf dem Rücken.

I have used other simple halters, which worked well, but I was looking for a single point connection not a double point. I have a large dog, a setter, who is allowed to run freely, but at times needs to be on the lead.It is early days, but I seem to able to have a better control of him and this improves mutual confidence.Fitting is straight forward and the build of the harness is robust.

I ordered the EZYDOG Crosscheck Harness after two of my super feisty high energy Rat Terrier dogs escaped from another type of harness when we met up with an unleashed dog on our daily walk. Those harnesses were fitted according to instructions, even seemed tight, and we'd been using them for many months although I did notice my dogs pulled a lot with those harnesses. By suddenly changing direction (stopping and backing up out of the harness) the dogs were able to slip out of them with ease. Those old ones are what I call "Turtle shell" style harness with a little saddle over their back.THEN I saw the Cross check Harness and noticed right away it looked different, like a figure 8, and looked like it might be more secure. So I ordered two. We've been using the Crosscheck Harnesses for a few days and let me tell you, THEY ARE GREAT- our dogs do not pull, they mind and follow my lead MUCH BETTER, and I can tell, the dogs seem unable to slip out of them. Also, they are easy to put on and take off. I really like the clip, it is smaller than on my previous harnesses, but really secure. AND it even fits my little short legged RT just as well as it does on my slimmer taller RT. That has been really hard to find a harness to fit my little chubby puppy, with her small head/neck and larger body but this one fits her great. Now we can give her more excersize, without woory of her harness sliding around.And I've gone back and ordered a third Crosscheck for our harness shy boy dog as well. He normally has to walk with a neck collar only, as he did not tolerate the former style harness well- but this one, the Crosscheck, he wore first time no complaints at all and walked just great on it.Really has changed my attitude about walking my dogs, I am confident now and SO HAPPY. Très facile à mettre en place quand on a compris comment le faire ( au début c'est déstabilisant...)Peu encombrant pour le chient, parfait pour l'été mais utile toute l'année, le chien ayant toujours son manteau de fourrure sur le dos !
