Great Saw
I bought this a portable alternative for my corded Dewalt reciprocating saw. After using it, I see there is so much power that I do not need my corded saw anymore. I also like the compact size. I didn’t think of using it for pruning but since there is no cord, I took it out on the out of the moment and did some pruning. It worked great.

Extremely handy
Very handy to use. I've used on on cutting up pallets, small trees, brush and more, and it's never let me down. Built extremely well, but being a Dewalt, that's not surprising.

This little saw can cut
I've never had a cordless recip saw until now and wish I would have gotten one sooner. This thing is impressive and has some really nice features. Its compact, not too heavy, and the ability to put the blade in facing any direction is really convenient. I would highly recommend to someone.

Fantastic power tool
I have always liked Dewalt and finding one that is made in the USA makes it even better. Using this vs my plug in Milwakee was a dream. I also really like the ability to put the blade in 4 ways. Very powerful and batter lasts for a very long time.

Great saw
I'm 69 years old and I was able to use this saw with no problem. It's a little heavy with the battery attached but well worth it by not having to deal with a cord. It's also a hefty saw and well made. Did not come with a blade though. Separate purchase but still, the price was good.

Compact saw with full power
So far, this reciprocating saw has performed really well. Has as much power as most corded, full-size saws, yet is in a more compact and balanced packaged. Even with a 5Ah or 6Ah battery can be used single-handedly. Has four position, tool-free blade holder that makes it easy to change blades and holds blades securely. If already on the DeWalt battery platform, can wholeheartedly recommend this tool.

Great tool
This was a gift for my girlfriend. She's the carpenter. According to her; this tool is easy to manage, battery life is fair, and it's well built. Plus the blades are easy to find and install. Comes in like in a small suitcase. Anyway; she put it to the test cutting cheroc, 2x4s, plywood, and wood planks, and she loves it. So yes; I would definitely recommend this product. One thing; it doesn't come with the battery or the charger but if you take your time you will find a good deal that includes everything. Good luck.
