UPONEW for Google Pixel 6 Front Panel Outer Screen Glass Panel Replacement with Opening Tool (11 PCS)

After attempting to remove my old broken screen without damaging the digitizer it became very clear that that was not going to happen unless I had very special tools. If you don't have those tools then get the screen with the digitizer.

To save some money, I bought what I needed (or so I thought). There is nothing wrong with this product, but I cant get it installed professionally - they only want to deal with a complete replacement (not just the glass). Sorry - cant recommend this - just for the fact that I can not use it.

It doesn't come with the proper T3 to get the screen off and its just the glass. The $90 not sold here kit from the I place has the complete screen and is more plug and play. This was well beyond what I could ever do and I fix cars for a living.

My husband ordered this so he could replace a cracked screen on his Google Pixel 3a. Unfortunately, while this kit arrives as advertised, its as good as useless for two reasons: 1) It's missing a T3 Torx Screwdriver which is necessary to disconnect screen. 2) A screen on its own is impossible to use on a Pixel 3a since the original screen is permanently attached to the LCD. Simply put, the only way to replace a screen on a Pixel 3a is to purchase a replacement screen/LCD combo.What is the purpose, then, of this company selling a screen by itself? Simple, to make money by scamming people. It's like selling half a tire; sure, it's rubber, but it's not like you can buy another half-a-tire and glue them together. In the same way, if you buy this, you're wasting your money.
