As an online teacher, I have multiple Zoom meetings in any given day and I record content on the daily. I own a lot of mics... several Rodes, several plug-in lav mics, and countless earbuds with mics. I've used them all quite a lot, and so this review comes from a LOT of experience using this mic in the real world.Here's the takeaway:The Rode mics sound better, but not THAT much better. The convenience and ease of use of this mic more than makes up for slight drop in quality. The battery lasts so long and it's never run out on me. I use it for an hour or so at a time and then it goes back in the charging case, so it's always ready to go.I am on two different Macbooks (one at work, one at home) and so I love that it is USB-C.Honestly, I can't think of anything negative to say about it, but I'll try.There's really no point to the foam windscreen. It doesn't fit on the mic easily, so I never use it, and people say that they can't tell a difference anyway. So it just takes up space in the case.It's also a bit expensive, but it just WORKS and I've used it a lot over the past year. I think it's worth it.

This microphone is great. I've been on the hunt for these wireless lavalier microphones for a while now. My ultimate goal was to create my own "gaming headset" by finding good pair of wireless headphones and pairing it with a wireless microphone. The standard microphone option is the modmic wireless. However I didn't want a boom mic, and I didn't want something that I had to remember to frequently charge. With this microphone it is charged by the case and the case has a battery percentage readout.The mic itself is rated for 8 hours. I am not a streamer so I don't play long enough to drain the mic's battery in one sitting. When I do play online games with friends it is for a few hours at a time. The mic sound quality is excellent. There is a fullness to the sound. It doesn't sound thin or robotic. My friends said I sound like a good phone call. The microphone is fairly sensitive to background noises, at least when using it on pc. I have noise cancelling software that eliminates that issue, but if you were to use this on console your party chat may hear background noise. For example, there is a smoke detector in the hallway that needs a new battery and that chirp can be heard if I don't use the noise cancelling software.Overall, I think this is a great microphone that works very well on PC and decently on console. If you are using this to record things on your cellphone, it will capture your audio fine, however you won't be able to hear the audio of your recording until you unplug it from your device. This is due to how devices see the microphone. When I plug it into my PC or PS5 it shows up as a headset. Both of these platforms allow you to route the audio separately from the input source. So far I don't see a way to do this on an android phone. If PC or console are your primary use, then get this. If its for mobile get it as well, just be aware of the quirks of the platform.

Mobile phones typically have pretty good microphones on them. However, you can run into issues when filming because you tend to have the phone sat a fair distance away from the subject. This is especially noticeable when you're filming something like an interview or a video where you are sat talking to the camera. This lapel mic offers a solution to these issues.One thing to keep in mind is that this mic will require a USB-C port to work. This means it's suited to most modern Android Smart Phones and Laptops (including Apple Macbooks), however iPhones aren't going to be able to use it without an adaptor. Depending on your phone, you may need to go into your video/app settings to select audio recording to be made from the lapel microphone. Once you've done this, I found that it worked seamlessly - the connection was very stable and the sound quality was impressive: far better, louder and clearer than using the mobile phone on it's own. Having the foam cover to use also helped reduce interference and wind. The overall noise reduction effect was just enough that it drowned out most background noise and yet it didn't give you that weird 'robotic' sounding voice that noise reduction can sometimes give.Wearing the lapel mic is very easy due to the clip system - you can fix it to your clothing (a collar or shirt most easily) within seconds. It's incredibly light and so once you've worn it for a few minutes you'll forget all about it. And although it's noticeable on film if you're looking for it, it's pretty discreet and difficult to spot on darker clothing. Even when spotted, it's not distracting either.Charging it is very simple with the included USB cable. All you need to do is drop everything into the case and plug the case in to begin the charging process. It'll take around 2 hours if the device is empty (much less if it's not) and this will give you around 7-8 hours of usage. A display in the case will let you know the battery percentage.Overall, this is an excellent wireless option for those looking for a lapel mic to up their vlogging or interview game. The sound quality is great, it's easy to use and comfortable too.

This wireless version isn’t to use to project your voice during a live presentation with the audience in the same room for example, as it’s not a microphone and speaker. It’s for recording your voice, sound etc to be played back or to be used to make sound more clear when on a video call. Tested on WhatsApp video call, it worked and the sound is really clear.This worked seamlessly with a Samsung tablet and phone, but when I got an adapter in order to test it on an iPhone, it connects initially, but then keeps on loosing the connection.

Packaging is very surprising since doesn’t represent such a amazing product, very generic, however hard cardboard will definitely protects product during transit which on the end is most important.Inside has been better organised with product case on the middle and section for usb-C cable and adapter on the side in dedicated compartment.Microphone with case itself is incredible. Reminds me of modern wireless earphones with charging case. Superb idea, guarantee that microphone will never run out of battery since once in case its getting charged all the time. Obviously that refers to fully charged case. In order to help see status of battery they implemented display with percentage of battery charged. Great idea, makes it much easier. Microphone charges with connecting 2 pins on case. There is plenty of storage for usb-C adapter as well windproof sponge to reduce background noise and wind noise.This system is fully plug and play. By connecting dedicated adapter microphone connects immediately and display solid blue light to signal that it is connected. Quality of sounds in amazing, crispy clear sounds, massive range and once clipped to shirt it does capture everything so confirm 360 degree omnidirectional function.This cost about 1/4 of price comapring to similar products on market and at the same time does much better job. Once thing i found annoying is that once you record something you cannot play it back, there will be no sound since it registering this adapter as a headphones so you need to unplug it in order to playback what you recorded. Not big deal but i found it a bit frustrating. Besides of that, this is superb lavalier microphone.

High quality microphone, definitely better than using your phone's microphone, and feels a lot more professional. It clips on easily and allows you to keep your hands free.Comes in a case similar to what most earbuds are stored and charged in. It is very well presented and packs away everything nicely inside. I dropped the case off the desk onto a hard floor and have had no issues, it kept everything intact and secure. I put it to charge after use and have never had it run out of battery on me so it holds for a good amount of time.Sound quality is really impressive for such a small microphone. It is crisp; it being clipped onto a shirt really picks up every word spoken clearly, from a distance it's not so great but that's not what it's designed for.

This records sound really well and cancels out the background sounds excellently. I'm impressed with it.It's easy to attach to your collar, blouse, tie etc. and looks discreet. It has a good battery life and doesn't take long to charge up either.The manual explains the way to use it and it's actually really easy to use once you are up and running.It's been used to record interviews I am doing and made life a lot easier for me. It's not to be used as a typical microphone that magnifies your voice live to an audience for example. It's not that type of microphone.
