Check Amperage
These smart plugs work as advertised, but be aware of the amp rating. A rating of 2 amps is adequate for most household applications. But I used mine to turn on my coffeemaker, and it worked well for 6 months. Not bad considering they are not designed for use on high amp devices like this. But it finally did quit working. Still a good product!

A PERFECT way to turn off my outdoor, standard LED strips without the remote!
Though I found the auto-recognition feature didn't work out, the "manual find" worked PERFECTLY and I was able to get this going on the second try. From that point, it was a breeze to setup a schedule for my garden light strips to ensure they come on/go off on time every day. Its a good way to turn dumb leds (ones without a data line) into smart ones LOL!

Works great, easy to use with App
I got tired of reaching around the Christmas tree to plug in/out everyday so i installed one of these plugs. I already had the Wiz app, and adding the plug was easy. Now I can turn the lights on or off from my couch.

Works fine but terrible setup
The setup on these was torturous, turned my wifi to 2.4ghz and only 1 connected after several hours of messing with all kinds of settings once it was finally set up it works great. I hope i dont have to deal with that again!

It does exactly what I need it to do.
I have a WiFi Security cam that, once in a while, goes offline. I have to unplug it, wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in. That's a real problem when you're on the road. This device, via the Wiz app allows me to reset it from anywhere. I'm so thrilled! The only reason I gave it three stars for the setup is that it took way too many tries to get it connected, compared to the same device purchased a couple months ago, for a similar sec cam. Possibly my problem, but since it connected, no problems! I could find uses for a dozen of these devices.

Dont bother
I bought this since I already use WiZ light bulbs, which work great. Once I got it, the set up did NOT work. Both the supposedly auto connect & the manual set up did NOT work. I bought another from a retail store just to see if it was this unit and same results. Not working! The website has NO instructions and the FAQ's section setup says the same thing, just plug, connect & use! The WiZ app would NOT even find the plug. So bow im stuck using WiZ for my light bulbs & another brand for my wifi plugs which mean TWO apps. So much for their claim on efficiency, and 1 App for ALL your wireless needs!

This is a great product and is a great addition to control devices along with my lights. I can plug in devices in the same room group and control them as one.

Compre una serie de luces normales para la pergola de mi terraza y es padrisimo llegar a casa y tener encendidos los foquitos y apagarla o prenderla desde la app. TENGO PROGRAMADO EL ENCHUFE Y UN FOCO WIZ DE MI GARAGE PARA QUE SE ENCIENDAN Y SE APAGUEN A DETERMINADA HORA, LLEVO SIN INTERNET 1 SEMANA( X CUESTIONES DE LA COMPAÑIA DE INTERNET) Y LO MAS SORPRENDENTE ... EL FOCO Y EL ENCHUFE SIGUE ENCENDIENDO Y APAGANDO A LA HORA PROGRAMADA AUN SIN EL INTERNET. Obvio los que no programe no funcionan más que manualmente como foco normal pero ESTOS ME HAN DEJADO IMPACTADA
