I use them daily with pots, pans, baking sheet and my glass tea kettle. The size is perfect and when I need something bigger I put a couple of them together and they protect my stone counter tops perfectly with no issues at all. They wash pretty easily as well I usually just hand wash them because they are so easy to clean. I chose the grey because they match my stone tops. I like that they have the whole if you want to hang them up, but I just leave mine on the counter next to the stove.
