We ordered this unit after an on-line search to fit our existing LP heater cabinet. This one was the closest size, had good reviews and was a good price. It only required a little trim work that I had expected for a perfect fit. The first unit was delivered with a 1" dent on the edge and piece broken from one of the logs. Returning it was fast, easy and at no charge. I received another unit that was delivered fast but also with a similar small dent on the visible edge that I was able to straighten and touch up. The flame only mode looks realistic and runs silent. The heater mode puts out reasonable heat for our 12' x 14' den but the fan does make some noise. The remote also makes a fairly loud "beep" when the buttons are pressed which annoys my wife. Otherwise it works fine and I am satisfied with the purchase.

The fan is a little louder than I expected, but I love the real life look of the inside. The remote took a little bit to master, but overall,I Love It

Its nicer than than the original insert I got with the tv stand from Ashley. It keeps me warm and doesnt shut off. Im happy, great purchase:)

I purchased this to place inside my Ashley furniture 72" Harpan tv stand. It was literally $200 less here than on Ashley Furniture online and $300 less than in their store. I paid $279 on Amazon.I almost did not pay that because it was on sale for $200 on a Cyber Monday sale and they upped the price to $320 4 hours before the sales clock ran out.The box came very damaged but the unit seems to work okay. It was easy to install (from the back) and worked right away. This does not heat very well at all - unless you are standing next to it. However, it does look nice. We got it to heat a large living room and it does not do the job very well. Okay for more of a novelty look then needed heat. Stand alone utility heaters from Home Depot work way better than this unit.

The media could not be loaded.  I am very happy with this fireplace insert! I had an Ashley fuel gel fireplace and just got tired of spending the money on the fuel gel cans. Decided to do some research on Amazon and came across this item. I looked at the dimensions on the old firebox from when I purchased the fireplace a few years back and this was an exact match! Shipping was prime, had it in 2 days. Unscrewed the old firebox and popped this one right in, plugged it in and voila! Its surprisingly realistic looking with quite a few options on the remote, including timer, heat intensity and flame adjustment. It gives off great heat or use as no heat. It makes no noise at all. I couldn't be happier with how well it fit and the appearance! If this is the size you need, buy it, you won't regret it!

Insert in our fireplace burned out. This one is super quality, fire is gorgeous and the heater and remote are awesome! Updated the old dark stained Fireplace.

The fireplace fit perfect and it looks great. My only issue is that I was expecting it to have crackling sound. The product description says "Enjoy the comforts of a crackling fireplace" but it does not have the sound effect.

I wanted to get this fireplace/heater when buying my furniture from Ashley Furniture, but they wanted to charge me over $300 for it. I looked into Amazon, because why not, and was shocked to find the same exact fireplace for literally half of the price. I did some digging to make sure that this was legit, and when it arrived to me it was packed into an Ashley's Store box! It looks perfect to have it on when watching movies. Even though I like in Florida and it is very hot outside about 300 days of the year, I barely turn the heater on, so I bought this for looks more than anything. However, whenever I turn the heater on, it makes my entire apartment super toasty! The set up was also super easy, all you have to do is take it out of the box and plug it into an outlet. Highly recommend getting this product from Amazon, unless you want to buy 1 for the price of 2 from Ashley's Furniture.
