Etymotic Triple Flange Silicone Eartips, Clear - 10 Pack - Standard Fit

These eartips are a perfect replacement for the stock eartips of the ER20 earplugs, and they fit just as well as the originals in my ears.

Let's face it, if you're starting from the ER4S or ER4XR, as I was, these filters are going to make minor differences. This is also reflected in the frequency response curves they show.I played around a bit, and differences are hard to compare directly, because it takes a few minutes to make the change from one filter to another.In the end, I chose to use the red filters with my ER4S as it seemed to give them a livelier sound, a bit more "musical" and much like the ER4XR.If you're a true Ety-head, these are fun to play with, but the ER4 series is so close to perfection that, for me at least, it's all pretty subtle.

I had to do some research before buying this, but I can confirm that it works with Klipsch earbuds/in-ear monitors. Tested on my s4 and x10i. It's a tighter fit than the standard eargels from Klipsch and reaches slightly deeper into the ear canal. The sound quality is absolutely wonderful as it provides even better isolation than any eargel from Klipsch and reaches even deeper. It provides much more clarity for higher frequency sounds and I can noticeably hear more from my music. The color from the seller's image is slightly misleading as it's more of a frosty gray color, not white.Overall very happy with the purchase as it made my Klipsch x10i's sound even better.

These fit more snugly in the ears for better noise cancellation purposes. Also, I find these to be a bit more comfortable after several hours of use. I would advise applying a very small amount of baby oil to each bud to lessen initial discomfort in ear canal. Caveat: do not push these too far into the ear or , upon removal , you risk bud coming free and lodging deep in the ear. Solution: double check to make sure the buds are firmly attached to the set before insertion and, upon removal, take the earphones out carefully and slowly. Best use: Adults 18+Great for professional musicians!

Left is the one I received, the right is stock. They look more similar in photos but in real life, the translucence is different with the stock one being less transparent and the top part is darker on the one I received. the middle flange is higher up on the one I received and is more flush to the bottom flange on stock.

Etymotic products are wonderful including these eartips. However, the 10 piece christmas tree forest picture currently displayed (the 'standard christmas tree shape with base protruding past the lower branches' has part number ER38-15SML <==note the 'L' for long) does not match the correctly listed part number of the item that ships (ER38-15SM <== short version whose base does not extend past the lower branches and so sits closer to your ear). So if you want the standard ones pictured dont get these until you check that this page has been corrected so that the pictures match the part numbers. The shorter ones fit the plugs but the lack of the protruding base may put the plug closer to your ear than you expected, which can irritate it until you replace this short version('SM') with the standard long version('SML') shown in the picture where the stem extends past the bottom branches of the christmas tree instead of just inside the bottom branches. Having said that I dont see where to buy the long ones pictured, so please add the correct product for sale as well.

In case you are wondering, these ER38-15SM are the same size as ones came factory mounted on my er2xr. I was hoping for something larger, but not as large as my previous ER38-18 2-flange, which I still prefer, for that good enough seal but not as deep-inserted. Take my rating with a grain of salt, this is about trying out for the ones that best fit you. If the ERs sounds thin, you don't have a good enough seal, go deeper and/or try the next larger flange size.

These little plugs are worth their cost. I have a couple pairs of ER headphones and they are fantastic, particularly at the higher end. With that must invested you probably don't want to buy another pair after the edge on the sound begins to dull a bit. Change the earplugs, and every now and then change the tiny plug. It makes a great difference.
