Sorry never had simari's, but these were great today when it was feels like 7 degrees outside.

Is this product any good?

I have used them a few times now and I think they are a pretty good quality. I am able to pull a sled, do minor chores outside, and they fit really nice. So I think the gloves are good.

Are these good at keeping your hands warm in below freezing temperatures?

Yes! I used these gloves in 15 degree weather with snow/ freezing rain for 5hrs and they kept me warm the entire time!
