A daily kitchen tool for our family
This Punch N Cover is almost exactly like the vintage one I have had for about 20 years. We use evaporated milk every day for our coffee (and for our cat's snacks) and the old Puncher has been going strong. I finally found them on Amazon, so ordered two more so we have spares when one is in the dishwasher. They are so practical for opening, covering, and storing cans of liquid (milks, broths, etc.) . They come out of the dishwasher sparkling clean and shiny.

Works great, glad I have it. However, don’t expect a tight fitting, spill proof lid for storage....
Lids for Can Milk! Finally, a better mouse trap, than those generic can lids (for dog and cat food,) that keep falling off. These work well, they just don’t fit tight, but does get the job done, The secret is to make sure to put the hole punchers in the holes made in the can while storing. I’ve never had any problems with them.If you want a larger hole to pour from, it’s ok to make one side larger with a “church key” and use this metal lid for storing.Only thing that would make this better, is if they make an airtight, spill proof lid made especially for can milk to accompany this . But hey, it works great.

After searching for years, I have found a punch, pour, cover for canned milk. Works great!
Have been searching for years for a cover for my canned evaporated milk. In the past, I would cover with inefficient glad wrap which would fall off all the time no matter how I tried to keep it in place. Now with this Punch N Cover, everything is a breeze. All you need to do is place the stainless steel cover over the can and press down to poke two neat holes for easy pouring. Then place the cover on the can for refrigerator storage. The holes are clog free. Very simple! At last something that is so very practical and useful and does the job! And delivery was very quick.

Easy to use
Easy to use. Also use it as a lid once the can has been punched.

Works great
These do exactly what their supposed. Take a can. Press the cover into make holes, top stays clean, holes stay open. Throwback design from many years ago by Carnation for their canned milk. Limited use but very handy.

Well made, works great.
Identical to the one my family had for 60 years. I bought it for my daughter because she wanted mine. lol

Generally good, but punched holes aren’t that big
We use evaporated milk at our off-grid cabin for coffee and tea - the cans are a convenient size, and don’t require refrigeration until opened. The only snag is finding a can punch, and then keeping bugs out of the open milk tin. This gadget takes care of both for us, and seems to be easier for our kids to punch than the usual church key. My only gripe is that it doesn’t make particularly large holes. That’s fine if you’re adding milk to your coffee or tea, but less desirable if you’re trying to pour a larger quantity for pancake batter.

Took almost 3 weeks to get here to BC Canada!
You need a lot more strength in your hands to use this punch than I have in mine!I had to resort to covering with a multi-folded tea towel and using a hammer.Definitely not something I want to do every time I open a can of evaporated milk. For these reasons, I would not recommend.

Great quality!!
I use these lids for evaporated milk which I use in tea. They are very hard to find, but these are super quality and will last for decades, I'm sure.
