We give them a 5 star because they are what they advertised and more. They look and feel great. But they never said they offer UV protection. People interchange polarization and UV protection but they are different. The difference between UV protection and polarization is this: UV protection guards your eyes from harmful UV rays while polarization works to minimize glare. Some questions warn about that this shades are not polarized but they are. How do you know they polarized? Look at a bright, reflective light source like glass, water, or polished metal, say a car, with your shades on. If the light increases in intensity when you tilt your head sideways to around 60 degrees, you're wearing polarized sunglasses. If there's no change, they're just tinted. I did check the glasses, some feel as they offer more protection from glare but really is about the same. I wish I could put into video but what I was able to perceive, I couldn’t make the camera work for me to show it. If I can I will upload.

I lose my sunglasses all the time so I loved this because there are so many I can just place them in the cars, and everywhere else. They’re very comfortable and do a great job blocking light. They also have a nice look for my head shape, might not be for everyone though. The lenses are a little flimsy but you get what you pay for. Overall it’s great for functional purposes.

Great value for the money, but they are advertised to be polarized. It’s very simple to test for polarized glasses because if you hold to up next to eachother and turn them you should not be able to see anything. These are not polarized glasses. It’s a lie. If they lied about that then it’s safe to assume these are colored glass with no protection from the Sun and wearing them will destroy your eyes eventually. Would be great value, but dont waste your money on this fraud.

You can spend more but why?You get comfortable sunglasses, with a package that has a mix that should work for most people. If you are looking for a pair to totally block the sun, you need UV400, with the mirror lens. Open the glasses up, hold the front of the glasses with your right hand, and point your index finger on the other side of the glasses (the inside). If you can see your finger, that gives you an idea of how well it will block the sun. Get a mirror pair, and in most cases, you can't see your finger or barely. Then on a sunny day, with mirror lens, you can see a lot better on a bright sunny day. It also helps you if you work outside!

I ordered the "bright" collection for my boyfriend. They do fit his face good, and he says they are comfortable.Another reviewer posted a pic of the same "bright" collection showing that only two pair are considered bright. We have the same issue. Only 3 of the pairs received are what was pictured in the ad. Also my boyfriend said if they are polarized, they barely are. Three of six pair do not seem to be at all. One pair has such lighted shaded lenses that they don't even look like sunglasses.
