Ruined King: A League of Legends Story Standard - Nintendo Switch [Digital Code]

I came to this with little knowledge about League of Legends beyond the lore that's part of the Netflix show. This game has vague references to some of the locations and characters that appear in the show, but is built from a different section of the game's lore.Ultimately it has a lot of the world building elements that I enjoyed from the show, so it scratched that itch. Narratively it's relatively uncomplicated, which made it more of an easygoing game than one I was gripped by. Its combat system is an interesting one I hadn't seen in an RPG before, so that added some entertainment value until I got used to how to manage it.What really drags it down is the lack of any reason to revisit the game for either an additional run through or for extra post-game content. It's a relatively short story (I finished it in about 35 hours, including all the side quests) and for its price there isn't enough replay value built in. But it's solidly entertaining, and I'd be inclined to pick up further standalone titles like this that are focused on other LoL stories and settings.
