This kit is great! I was worried about the brightness of the LEDs since I was throwing them on my 05 Tacoma which isn't lifted, but still much higher off the ground than a sports car. Even at this height, the ground still glows great! The mounts and zip ties as others have said are not worth much, I decided to just go with electrical tape wrapped around my frame securely enough to hold the tubes. The nice thing about electrical tape is it will soften up in heat and basically fuse to the frame. Since I don't plan on ever removing these lights, that will work for me. Either way you will most likely want to find a more secure way to mount the tubes. The tubes do appear to be water resistant, but I would definitely use electrical tape to wrap around all the wire connections, as they are left relatively exposed and could easily be shorted if splashed from a gutter or puddle. As you can see from the photo, it is still somewhat light outside, but the glow is still very visible. It is even better at night. On the sides, the glow has a sharp edge where it cuts off on the inside, that's only because the frame of my truck blocks the tube's light from going that direction. Overall very happy with these, my truck looks great!

This is an awesome kit. I do recommend you have someone who knows what they are doing in order to install.PROS: Great lighting even in low light. Looks as impressive as it should. Button for easy turn on turn off. No splicing needed into cars original wiring.CONS: it doesnt come with the right screws, I recommend self tapping screws. The connectors are very fragile and break off which means splicing it to each other might be required.

The media could not be loaded. Awesome product!! I have a 2000 Grand Am Gt. Stock height. These Led's are brighter than i expected they are very easy to install. It took me about 2 hours to install them. I recommend looking under your car or truck to see where you want to mount them first and where you want to run your wires. That was the most time consuming. Other than that they provide you with all the hardware. The brackets works well although i used different screws than the ones provided. I used self tapping screws with a Lil silicone on the tips of them. And used the provided zip ties as a back up. Like i said i was shocked of how bright they are. There is no "dot" pattern shown on the ground just a solid color. Will be back to purchase the interior kit next.....Recent update as of 5/18/10 installed the interior kit uploaded a small video showing the both of them installed. The interior took about 45 min to install. Pretty easy to install as well. The next kit im going to buy will be the wheel well led kit and then i will be done lol.... Hopefully

After having the product for over a year, I finally got around to installing it. The lights are bright, and good blue. There are some things I'd like to note though.1. While it is a very attractive blue, it isn't quite the same shade as LEDGlow's interior kit, which puzzles me greatly, you'd think they'd use the same LED lights for the two kits.2. The installation "brackets" and screws provided with the Slimline kits are garbage. The "brackets" are measly little plastic clips that aren't even the length of the diameter of the tube. (If you were to put the clip on the tube and then press the tube against the body of the car, the clip won't touch the car) The screws provided are garbage little wood screws. You'll need a tap and die set if you want to use them. I recommend just getting self tapping screws for metal applications. The brackets, as I said, are garbage and I had to fashion my own which unfortunately don't look great, but should hold the product far better than the junk provided. (The brackets shown on the installation video on LEDGlow's website is apparently from the wireless and million color sets.)3. To wire this thing into your car you'll need a hole roughly 7mm in diameter because the plug from the control switch to the kit is essentially a phone jack, and because they made it that way I wouldn't recommend cutting or splicing the wires to fit through a smaller hole or squeeze through a exising one.If you're not a afraid to drill into your car, the most difficult part of installation is just finding routes for the wires to go, avoiding the suspension systems and exhaust.My only real issue with the product is that they do not offer longer tubes for the sides. My car has 78" of metal between the two tires leaving 15" of empty space on either side of each tube. It'd be nice if they made a kit with tubes that were 60" or 72" long. Oh well.

Visually this color bounces right back off the road from dusk till dawn.Awesome neon blue. Every blue is a good blue but this is outstanding.It only took about an hour or two for my cousin and i to hook this up on my Camry.My uncle said my car looks like a puertorican's car or something lol. All judgement aside im totally happy with this product.For help with wiring see a best buy technician for some pointers (that's what i did, didn't cost me a dime)Wired it into the switch panel behind my car's cigarette lighter.As it says on the packaging check your local and state laws for the proper use of this product.I've had mine for over a month and haven't been an idiot with it and i have had zero problems with law enforcement.Thanks amazon for an amazinn product.~Ta ta everyone happy driving be safe.

Very good kit, easy to install. Hardest part is determine the wiring routing on your particular vehicle. The rest is plug and play. Cables are more than long enough. Light output is strong. Pics don't do justice as it gives off a warmer glow than the camera picks up. Customer service is exceptional. Had a question and they answered in a few hours with assistance. Installed on a 2010 Civic 4dr.
