A: It is ceramic. Just like the outside of the Egg-tastic.

**Q: Is there suppose to be a seal attached to the lid**
A: Yess it’s a rubber gasket that’s suppose to be on it the gasket is the color of an egg yolk

**Q: Are the eggs wet and runny?**
A: 3 eggs 2.5 min. very little of the eggs remain uncooked.
