Excellent product
We bought this feeder over three years ago, and it's worked flawlessly. We had to get a new power cord because one of our cats chewed up the original, but no other issues. The instructions are clearly written, so setup and connecting to Wi-Fi is fairly straightforward, and it works flawlessly once it's connected and a feeding schedule set up. (There have been a few times when I thought there was a problem because I couldn't see the device feom the app, but every time it turned out that the GFI receptacle had tripped.) We've moved to a different state since we purchased it, and it connected to our new network and went right on working perfectly. We even had to leave our cats with a friend during our move, and we left the feeder with her so the cats would have something familiar in a strange setting. I could never get the feeder connected to her Wi-Fi, but the feeder kept right on working on the previous feeding schedule. So apparently the programmed schedule stays in the feeder's memory until you explicitly change it. It holds plenty of food; we have to refill it every 1½ weeks or so. We couldn't be happier with it.

5/5, great feeder
Can’t believe I’ve never written a review for this. I’ve owned this for 2-3 years now and love it. I have 3 cats, so I have this as well as a solo auto feeder (Petkit brand, which I love), and I’m so happy with my setup. This is easy to use, easy to clean, and it’s worked every day since I got it, never any hiccups. It holds a good amount of food and is very easy to program a schedule so I don’t have to wake up as early as my cats do. Well worth the money and would recommend to other pet owners.

Works - but
We were adopted by a stray who turned into a little monster about food. We can’t walk by the kitchen or eat without him begging. We tried free feed - as in leave the daily amount and let him eat when hungry. That did not work because he inhales. The twice daily feeding also resulted in inhaling. I got this feeder, and began experimenting what would stop the whine. Its been 7 months and a cross country move later (at which point he also went from an indoor/outdoor cat to an Indoor cat) and I almost have it figured out. Tips: Check the calorie count of your food. We use Crave high protein which has larger kibble. I used an actual measuring cup and measured each dispense to ensure he was not getting over fed. He is a large (long and tall) 14lb young cat. I have his food sorted to give him 2/3 of his daily calories from kibble (tried multiple variations, right now its 3x/day) and 1/3 from wet food (Weruva or Tiki cat) twice a day. Watch for blockage- although the kibble is within the size range suggested, it has stuck before. Which could be a problem if it happens when traveling. It takes some jiggles, removing food, etc. to get it working again. My latest issue is- the time keeps resetting by a whole hour - as in my 4am feed is dispenses at 3am… trying to see if changing battery will fix this or not. This is a new and annoying issue. Not giving up yet.

super convenient and reliable!!
so thrilled i took the chance on this. my 2 cats need to eat the same amount of food every day and are hungry kitties!! so i wanted to get them on a regimented schedule. this feeder is so easy. the setup did not take me long at all, just make sure to read the instructions carefully. i had no problem setting up the app on my phone and connecting to the feeder via bluetooth. the app is so convenient, i love that i can feed them whenever via my phone. it dispenses well also.

Malfunctioning after 6 months
This machine was working great for my two cats. Connected to my wifi/phone, able to record a message, set up meal times. Even posted tiktoks about the feeder that got a lot of attention. HOWEVER my internet disconnected due to weather the other day and even when my internet went back to normal it was saying my device was offline on the app. I tried everything to get it back online but couldn’t reconnect. I looked at videos online, read the manual, played with all the buttons and I can’t fix it. I’ve deleted the device, I’ve reinstalled the app, I’ve pushed down on the restart button, etc but that light in the center won’t light up at all. The app cannot find the device because the Bluetooth feature won’t work? I don’t know what’s gone wrong all of a sudden and I tried to find a customer service contact for this but I couldn’t find anything and I spoke with 3 different Amazon representatives and they were unhelpful as well with getting me in contact with this seller. I’m very disappointed.

OK feeder, but it didn't last long and there is no support
It does the job if you have two animals. That said, our's is just over two years old and it started to get buggy a few months back. By that, I mean that it started to randomly skip feedings that were scheduled but it still logged the feeding as successful. Two weeks ago it stopped dispensing food completely. Just like before, it continued to log scheduled feedings as successful. I wanted to troubleshoot the issue and I had to do a lot of searching to find the product manual; unfortunately, there was no information about the issue I was experiencing and no warranty or contact information. So I contacted the seller through Amazon and they basically said, 'oh the motor must have died.' Not a very helpful response. Is it fixable? Is there a warranty (I realized there isn't any mention of a warranty on the listing page, but has that always been the case?). All in all, it worked reasonably well but I'm annoyed that it didn't last longer and that support is essentially non-existent.

Great for when the cat sitter wasn't available
We were going away for a weekend and our cat sitter was unavailable so this saved us a lot of stress. The portion sizes take a bit to figure out and the app is not completely intuitive but once I figured it out everything worked perfectly. We have 3 cats and having 2 bowls was perfectly fine. You can have food released up to 6 times per day on a timer or you can release it manually via the Smart Life app. I pointed one of our Wyze cameras at the feeder while we were away so I could make sure it was working. Everything worked great. We'll use it again whenever necessary, much easier than trying to find someone to fill in at the last minute.

Toller erster Eindruck
++++Update 15.01.2025++++ Der Automat funktioniert bei mir immer noch einwandfrei, wie am ersten Tag. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dies ist mein zweiter Futterautomat, zuvor hatte ich den PetSafe Simply Feed. Hintergrund meiner Nutzung: Ich habe einen gierigen (Oscar) und einen gemütlichen (Skippy) Siamkater. Wenn ich die Näpfe morgens vor der Arbeit voll mache, frisst Skippy meist nur ein paar Brocken und Oscar macht danach direkt beide Näpfe leer. Meine Idee war dann, mehrere kleinere Portionen über den Tag verteilt zu füttern. Optik: Im Vergleich zum PetSafe ist dieser Futterautomat filigraner, schicker, moderner. Das Fassunsgvermögen ist hier etwas kleiner, aber das stört mich nicht. Beide wirken einbruchsicher. Das mitgelieferte Kabel ist mir leider viel zu kurz, daher muss ich eine Verlängerung besorgen. Der Automat steht bei mir in der Küche am Boden und die einzig verfügbare Steckdose ist an der Arbeitsplatte an der hinteren Wand. Ich hätte nur 20-30cm mehr gebraucht....schade. Lautstärke: Dieser Automat ist um längen leiser bei der Futterausgabe, als der PetSafe. Damit ist der Motor gemeint und hat mich sehr prositiv überrascht. Bezüglich der Edelstahläpfe: Der PetSafe hat mir damals schon jedesmal einen Schrecken eingejagt, wenn die Brocken mit viel Krach in den Edelstahlnapf vielen. Deswegen habe ich schon immer eigene Keramiknäpfe genutzt. (Hier kann ich Kermik im Hof sehr empfehlen). Probiert es aus, der Geräuschpegel ist ein riesen Unterschied. App Nutzung: Ich konnte mich sehr schnell und einfach mit der App Verbinden und alle nötigen Einstellungen vornehmen. Bei Unklarheiten habe ich die Beschreibung zu Rate gezogen. Die große Beschreibung war bei mir nur auf Englisch vorhanden, mit teilweise sehr schlechtem Englisch, ist aber dennoch verständlich. Die kleine Beschreiebung ist auf mehreren Sprache, auch Deutsch. Hier ist zu beachten: Wenn man die einzelnen Fütterungszeiten einstellt, dann muss der Regler bei "Feeding Plan" rechts stehen und orange sein. Vorne auf dem Haupt-Screen, wo im unteren Teil die sechs Fütterungszeiten angezeigt werden, werden aktive Zeiten in blau dargestellt. Die grauen Zeiten sind inaktiv. Hat mich auch erst irritiert und vielleicht liegt bei einigen Nutzern der Fehler an dieser Stelle. Ich finde die Option toll, die Kater abends zur Not auch manuell füttern zu können, wenn ich mal spontan Pläne haben sollte. Ansonsten mache ich die Abendfütterung gerne selbst, ohne Automat. Voice-Option: Ist ein nettes Gimmick. Ich habe es ausprobiert, fand die Klangqualität aber nicht so gut (oder höre ich mich eventuell wirklich so schrill an???). Auch haben meine Kater sehr schockiert und alarmiert gewirkt, als meine Stimme abgespielt wurde. Ich lasse es somit lieber sein. Hat bisher auch ohne sehr gut geklappt und die Kater kommen angelaufen sobald die Brocken in die Näpfe fallen. Krokettengröße: Ich nutze das Futter von Royal Canine für Siamesen. Die Brocken sind recht groß, aber laut Beschreibung noch im Rahmen. Ich hoffe, dass sich hier auch auf lange Sicht nichts verhakt. Wenn ich dazu kommen, die Portiongröße für dieses Fütter abzuwiegen, werde ich mein Ergebnis hier nachtragen. Im Moment gefällt mir der Automat sehr gut und ich hoffe sehr, dass das noch lange so bleibt und sich keine Probleme entwickeln, wie bei dem ein oder anderen Nutzer.

Once set up, reliable and life changing
I got somewhat frustrated with setting it up. Programming and getting the meal size right, but once I did, no complaints for this feeder. The app is very useful! My boys start running when the voice recorder starts playing. Having a battery back up gives me peace of mind as well. UPDATE: Aug 10, 2022 The feeder’s light at the front of the unit is not working. And the meal plan isn’t being saved in the app for the 5PM feeding. I know it’s dishing it out but there’s no data to tell you that for their supper. I changed the batteries thinking maybe the non working light at the front was a signal that the batteries were dead. Still doesn’t work. The programme light on the lid isn’t illuminated either. Yes, it works when it’s plugged in but that isn’t the point. There’s no way to monitor anything. I bought this unit 8 months ago. I’m trying to find how I can reach the seller.

Très pratique et très utile avec un bon programme de distribution
J'adore ce distributeur, il est top pour mes chats, je suis autonome avec ce distributeur, il a un programme de 6 plages d'heures et tous les jours je change puisqu'il faut minimum 2 plages d'heures et il fait très bien son job et garde les croquettes dans une boîte, très pratique quand on veut partir plusieurs jours sans avoir de garde pour son chat ou ses chats puisqu'il a deux gamelles

はじめは日帰りで家を空けるときの餌やりマシーンとして軽い気持ちで購入しました そして使っていくつかメリットがあったので箇条書きしてみます ①餌の管理が楽になった ②猫のダイエットの管理も容易 ③食欲、体調の変化もわかり易くなった ④飼い主に媚を売って餌を貰おう作戦無くなった ⑤猫にまさかの時間感覚が備わった※5分前行動でマシン前に待機 うちはダイエットに手こずっていたのでとても助かりました これは細かい量を40段階くらいのレベルで設定出来るおかげです 1日に1〜6度まで与えられる 手動やスマホでもイレギュラーに与えることも可能 私=餌くれる人 この認識があったので休日は家にいる私に一日中餌をねだって来てとても大変だったのですが、このマシンが餌を牛耳っていると理解した猫たち。 結果、現金な猫たちは私には見向きもしなくなりました。悲しすぎやろがい。 ともあれ、可愛い猫たちには私の声を録音してそれぞれの名前を呼ぶ音声流れてから(3回)餌が出るので私の罪悪感も解消される素敵なマシンです winwinやわ 使い方も説明書を普通に読めば分かる スマホで管理もできる 特にダサ過ぎる見た目でもないので概ね満足です 1つだけ注意をしていただきたいのが餌の形状と大きさです 以前は餌の丸呑み防止のために複雑な形状のより噛み砕ける餌を好んで与えていましたが、素直な形や引っ掛かりづらい形状、或いは小さな粒の餌が無難だと思います 餌皿も洗いやすい、最高
