Einhell Cordless Grass Trimmer GC-CT 18/24 Li Power X-Change & Grass Trimmer Accessory For GE-CT 18 Li

I bought this after seeing the products advertised on tv. I had never heard of Einhell but thought because it’s German it’s rare that that it would not do exactly what it was supposed to, to a great standard. I took a chance rather than go with a more familiar brand and I was not disappointed.It is lightweight but tough. The battery charges very quick and lasts a long time. I have only charged it 3 times in around 4 months after moving to a new 4bed house with medium to large gardens. It was simple to assemble and came with loads of replacement blades. The blades also last not snapping like others I have used in the past.The price in my opinion was cheap compared to others.I would recommend this highly and was not disappointed. Great product, great price.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Easy to put together and light weight to use. However, a bit short on safety features as I have previously used a BD strimmer without goggles but with this one definitely I would never use without goggles as dirt and bits kick up all the time. Also no safety on the power handle so if pressed by mistake could cause a hurtful problem. Otherwise a great buy and works well for the price with long battery time.

This strimmer is brilliant. When it first arrived I thought "oh dear, it seems like a toy". But I cannot stress enough what an absolute joy it is! I have a 1.5 acre garden in rural Devon which I've rewilded and is a space for wild life. I'm an active 52 year old woman but my petrol strimmer was just making me angry! So I switched to this one with some scepticism. This strimmer is so easy to use. Incredibly lightweight and allows me to navigate around wild flowers that I want to keep. It's pretty tough on woody items, though you just need to go easy and take the tops off first. It glides through meadow grasses and I've even trimmed up tough shrubs with it. The click-on blades are a revelation! No more nightmare wires to deal with. The battery lasts a good 20- 30 minutes and while it takes about an hour to recharge, it's worth the wait. Blades can ping off and I've reordered more, but the ease of reattaching or fitting a new one is so easy. My garden is looking so much better thanks to this little machine. It's brilliant - love it and thoroughly recommend.

I had real problems with my verge. I have a stone border and a raised garden that was later paved, leaving two levels of paving. The edges between the paving at the bottom of the border and the top is almost impossible to clear of grass sods. This machine cleared them easily. I didn’t think it worth getting at first; how wrong I was. The garden has never been so easy to deal with. The battery lasts at least an hour. I’ve never used it for more than an hour, so can’t comment on how long it will last, but it runs well. The plastic ends do come off if you hit a stone (or paving) so I would recommend buying them in bulk, but they’re really easy to change. There is no safety, so remove the battery when changing them, but it is easy enough. The battery charger is simple to use too. Perfect accompaniment to the hoe.

Was not sure about ordering a battery powered strimmer but I was fed-up with cable ones where the cutting cable always get tied up into tight knots and you end up throwing the thing away in disgust. Well, I'm very happy to say that this Einhell battery strimmer has been working very well for the last few weeks. It is powerfull enough for everyday garden use and honestly, the portability is a blessing. It uses little plastic blades instead of cable and that makes a BIG difference to maintaining a cutting edge. The blades are a bit difficult to attach - you'll need a pair of pliers handy, but once on, they seem to handle being potentially damaged very well - they last in other words. Battery charger looks 'beefy' enough - comes as a separate unit. The strimmer is lightweight and I can just stroll round the garden and it's like a walking stick to carry. I can even do edge trimming and strim weeds from between the paving slabs. Very pleased.

Relatively easy to assemble and effective for trimming long grass. Blades easy to fix but have a tendency to fly off.

We bought this product to compliment (ie battery compatible) with Einhell lawn mower. The product is light weight and easy to assemble. The battery (bought separately (4Ah) was more than enough for our smallish garden trimming. Having been used to a corded strimmer with plastic strimmer wire this seemed like an easier option. Whilst its easier to use cordless the plastic blades very easily wear down if contacting stone or edging strip etc. Overall more convienient than corded but the blades may prove frustrating. Also be careful when cutting near plastic edging strip as it sliced through ours easily!

Found this lightweight making it easy to use. The replacement blades are a great idea and straightforward to replace (although you do go through them very quickly so order more). I found it was easy to assemble out of the box and the battery life is more than sufficient, easily 30+ mins of heavy duty strimming.
