I have been using this holder for four years and it is the best holder I can find. I can place it anywhere on the windshield and change the location if I want to. The vecro tape is very strong and never had any issue. The suction cup is the weakest link. It relies on suction. Over time, the suction strength will diminish as the suction cup hardens, especially under extremely hot weather. You can prolong the decline by adding a drop of water on the suction cup before you put it back on the windshield. After a few years, you will eventually need to replace these suction cups. The replacement ones for this particular holder is not sold on Amazon for some reasons. I found them on JL safety's own website. It is the 1.125" size (the other one for 1.75" does not fit this holder) It is around 12 pieces for $10 as of December 2021.

So easy to install and works perfectly on the windshield.

This is a fabulous solution for the fact that they never seem to include suction cups on the EZPass transceivers. I hate installing the strips that come with the transceivers on my windshield, and refused to do it with our last few vehicles. I had a holder with suction cups that you could slide the old style EZPass into, but we got the EZPass Flex in the past few months, making the old holder worthless. This one is great in it's simplicity, and honestly even better than the previous style we had. You just stick your transceiver to it, and stick the the holder suction cups up on the windshield. (Or put this up first and then put the transceiver on it, whichever way you prefer.) It fits the EZPass Flex perfectly. It's been up there for over a month now with no issues - the transceiver hasn't come off (and is really unlikely to, as it has the same type of lock strips on it that they give you to mount on your windshield), and the suction cups haven't detached from the windshield either. Plus, we can now move transceivers between cars easily if we want to. It also just honestly looks so much better to me than the strips directly on the windshield every did, and makes the EZPass Flex a lot more like the SunPass we have. (I've always loved that our SunPass has suction cups.) I really can't say enough good things about this and would completely recommend it to anyone wanting a holder for the EZPass Flex.

It works very well to hold my older FasTrak transponder on my windshield, without leaving any adhesive residue. I only had the suction cups lose their grip once, but that was when I first bought it. I probably just didn't mount it quite right, at first. It has stayed in place for several months now. Since I have the old style transponder, with regular hook and pile Velcro, I had to remove it and buy some of the 3M / Scotch, plastic to plastic, indoor/outdoor fasteners, to replace it and allow it to work with this holder. Like this one: Scotch(R) All-Weather Fasteners, 2 Sets of 1 Inch x 3 Inches, Strips, Clear (RFD7090) Now it holds firmly as I drive, but comes off easily when I want to remove the transponder and leave the mount in place.
