The comforter came vacuum sealed, I definitely suggest putting it in the dryer on tumble to fluff it up. I bought the California king size and it was not difficult at all to tie to my duvet cover on my own. It seems light weight, but while sleeping the first night it felt like sleeping in clouds but also was kept warm without sweating. It’s more of a cooling weight and very comfortable and durable so far, as we have 2 large dogs that sleep in bed with us and there have been no issues, tears, or feathers coming out. Great purchase and I highly recommend. The missing star is from it saying it’s light weight. It is but it still feels like a comfortable comforter.

Love it!We’re in NorCal so this duvet will probably only be a half year covering, because it is so soft and fluffy and warm! We have been sleeping much better since we purchased it, it is like sleeping wrapped in a cloud. And it actually fits our Cal King duvet cover, unlike others we have tried. Just follow the instructions and put it in the drier for a bit to get it to fluff up.

I’ve been on the hunt for a thick duvet insert and this really took the cake for me. It’s sooo soft and comfortable I find my cats and dog sleeping on it more than me. It does get hot underneath but it’s probably because my boyfriend and I both use it at night to sleep. Also it is a bit heavy so good for when you want some weight in your blanket. It’s expensive but well worth the cost. I never want to leave my bed in the morning now!

If you're looking for lightweight bedding, this "all season" comforter isn't it. However, it is very soft and well made, and the fabric and filling are wonderful. I was hoping it would be something we could use year round in southern CT, but had to put it away for summer. I look forward to bringing it out again for fall & winter. Wish I'd paid more attention to reviewers who said it was too warm and had gone for the lightweight version instead, but that's my bad.

I was VERY disappointed when I took this out of the box and put it on my bed and read the materials tag. This product is NOT as advertised at all. The most annoying part of it is that now I have to return a KING sized duvet. This will not be fun. Please see my comments below:- NOT Pima Cotton Shell: it's 40% Polyester / 60% Cotton. We have been married for 61 years and owned quite a few Duvets and comforters over the years. I can say without a shadow of doubt that this is the best we have owned. We don't own a dryer, so we had to hand fluff it and wait for 24 hrs to expand fully. It is so soft and light and feels like an angel's fingers on our skin. We always sleep naked and we have a Duvet cover to keep things clean and healthy. We are so glad we purchased this. O, we won't be posting a picture.

This duvet is AMAZING! I’m from Northern Canada and wanted to support a Canadian business without spending a fortune. I researched so much before purchasing and almost went with a much lower priced duvet. Originally, this one was out of my price range but one day after a restless night at 22wks pregnant, I decided it was time to invest in good quality sleep. I had NO idea how much of a game changer this duvet would be and now looking back I feel silly for wasting any time at all contemplating my decision! Trust me when I say it’s worth every penny as my husband and I both had the best, most comfortable sleeps of our lives. Also, it’s true what the other reviews say, this duvet is perfectly weighted to make you feel like someone just tucked you in for a good nights sleep. 10/10 recommend you look no further, you won’t regret it!

I've owned a few duvets in the past, but this is by far the best one! After removing it from the shrink wrap package, I put it in the dryer to fluff it up for 20 min. It fluffed up nicely but by the next morning, it had expanded even more. Looks just like the photo in the listing. Very satisfied. Not too hot, lightweight, very soft and doesn't make that annoying loud crunching sound every time you move. I highly recommend and a great value for the money.

After doing a fair amount of research, I settled on this duvet for a few reasons: the down quality, baffle box design, thread count, warmth and other Amazon ratings. I am super pleased with the purchase. The duvet is very warm (may be too warm for summer, but I'm a hot sleeper anyway) and comfortable. It's light and snugly and the perfect size for my queen bed.Upon taking it out of the packaging, I threw it in the dryer for a few minutes to fluff it up (as instructed) and so far its stayed fluffy and the down is well distributed.
