I will start by talking about the box itself. It is made of a thicker gauge metal and feels very sturdy. The lid hinge is very secure and the weight of the lid holds itself down nicely when wires are routed out of the box. Although no directions or cut template was included, installation was easy tracing the box, cutting the hole and dropping it down.The outlet comes with a metal box and a black outlet. Although the quality of the outlet was standard, we replaced the outlet with a higher quality tamper resistant model as children can gain access to this box. In our case, we wired the outlet through a GFCI as this is installed on a floor that could get moped or spilled on.The 4 xlr jacks that were included are very nice. They have solder connections on the back for easy wiring. The box included 4 xlr jacks preinstalled, but I needed a different configuration so I replaced two with 1/4" TRS jacks and one with a VGA jack. They installed perfectly using the threaded holes cut into the plate. There is even room between the four jacks and the outlet to add more if we needed.Overall, I rate this box very highly. The construction quality is superb and it is very easy to install and reconfigure as needed.

This is a really good floor box and a great price. It is well constructed, strong and good finish. The lid is easy to open and the jacks are easy to get to.This was a new installation to add more mic jacks in a more convenient location. We have five floor boxes with four mic jacks in each. They are a different brand. They work good with no problems for years but the price for that box was three times as much. They are harder to install but look a little smoother.The only con's I have is minor. Our old box is deep enough that an inline transformer can be plugged in and the cover closed. Yet when you plug something into the transformer you still can't close the cover. This new box we have to unplug the transformer also to close the cover. Not really a problem.

Installed 4 of these along with similar recessed power outlets to allow local instrument/mic pickup in various areas of the stage. Excellent, sturdy product that will do what you need.Would highly recommend. Shipped quickly, too.

Good box with flexible configuration options. Box is sturdy and was an easy install. Definitely worth the money to add stage flexibility. A few items I with were different. The box top edges are sharp. Be careful with your cable routing to avoid pinching cables. Next and maybe a bit more important. The should be deeper. Thick cables or power plugs may not allow box to close fully. 1" deeper would make a huge difference.

Sweet alternative to having a bunch of cables all over stage. Perfect for venues and churches. I bought 5 of these units and have no complaints. They are rugged and super sturdy.

We use these at the church and they turned out great for the price. We went back and purchased more we were so happy.

Great solution for stage wiring! Easy to modify and make custom solutions.

I used two of these in our church platform. They are constructed well and have a heavy duty feel. Awesome item.
