I received this today and loved it. I bought 4 more as gifts. The glass is very clear and I couldn't believe the difference the light makes. I now can read the small print quite clearly as well as dozens of things I eusta could see to do. It is the perfect size. Buy one you won't regret it and throw away your old murky unlit magnifiers.

As I can not read after my eye surgery I needed a 5x magnififer and picked this as it is wide and claims it is 5x. It is wide and nicely allows to see a wide portion of the pages which is good yet as it has limited magnification I can hardly read using the wider part and need to concentrate on the smaller high magnification are with is almost as wide as a penny. I compared it with an other magnifier I had and is like 2x on the wider side and 3x on the high magnification part.It has a light which also helps when reading which is nice.A good magnifier, but wish it could give higher magnification for better sight.

Opened box, removed device and tried to open battery cover. Could not get it off. I put the device down on table and the cover just fell off. Installed three AAA batteries (Not Included).Device is wonderful. Lights work. It is of useful Size. Easy to hold. Lamps illuminate the area being viewed.It came in a reusable plastic "Zip" closure bag for use to keep lens clean.ALERT, Update 13 2022 ... Fooling around with the lens trying to figure out how they could cast such a failure. I found that there is a "protective" Film covering both sides of the Glass. WHEN PEELED off the Glass is Fine. The Defect is iin the Protection applied, and not noted in the instructions.The only fault is the handle/grip the form to my hand is upside down.

As far as magnifying glasses go, this one seems good on first sight. It does what it's supposed to, and I haven't noticed any defects upon arrival. The 25x lens in the handle works, but it's very small and a little difficult to use for something with such high magnification. But overall it works, and I'm pleased.The magnifying glass came in an unsealed cardboard box with no tray or insert, just the magnifying glass rattling around loose inside. The box has an email contact, with an @outlook,com domain, and the website printed on the side of the box is a unimi.site URL that doesn't work. There are three SKU stickers layered over each other. There was a mini user manual included, which is written in Engrish.

I bought this for my 91yr old mother-in-law. Only issue I'm concerned it how long it will last. It's large, which is what I wanted and the magnification is good. The light really helps as well.
