This book has been life altering for me. It's given me such a great ability to start doing yoga, enjoy life, and decrease a lot of my pain. Thank you for this! It's been the best I've felt in over 6 years!!

Yoga for chronic pain
I’m really glad that somebody has written a short, simple book with some basic yoga asanas (exercises) that everybody can do, in the comfort of their own home, without any equipment. There are suggestions for a short morning routine & for evening. There is also information on Pranayama (breathing exercises), which are really useful for pain, stress, anxiety & insomnia; mindfulness & simple meditations. It is written in short, easy to read chapters which you can dip in & out of. As a yoga instructor & complementary therapist I can absolutely see that this book would be very, very helpful for beginners & as a very long time sufferer of Chronic Fatigue & Fibromyalgia I can attest that the information contained therein is very helpful, certainly to get you started on your journey to wellness. I would add that, although swimming was mentioned briefly as a low impact exercise to try, my doctor suggested ‘wild swimming’ in the sea or local rivers & now there are lots of groups that do that (best not to go on your own for safety reasons) as it helps to reduce inflammation & lifts mood. I can’t swim so another alternative is after having a hot/warm shower turn the temperature down to cold. Start with 30 seconds a day & very slowly build up to 2 minutes. It feels like torture at first (especially in winter) but it does work. Perhaps speak to your doctor first before starting this regime. Wim Hoff gives lots of info about this & I’m sure has a website if you want to know more. Good luck with your journey & I pray that you all find a way out of this awful, debilitating illness. Namaste. 🙏❤️🤞

Not a lot of information, but a few suggestions.
Thin book with some moves I cannot do, but is average in helpfulness. Some new ideas to help with arthritis. Check number of pages.
