Functional but flimsy
I bought this unit to display small items such as coins and medals while I film them. It is reasonably good for doing that. The unit looks like a big ice hockey puck with a surface area a little bit larger than a CD. It has controls to change the direction of rotation and the speed. It can be powered in three different ways- by micro-USB cable (e.g. by mains or power bank)- a cable is included, by AAA batteries (although the enclosed leaflet says this is not recommended) or by an 18650 rechargeable battery which is not included.Inevitably there is a bit of motor buzz but it is overall pretty quiet. But there are a couple of things to keep in mind...First, the turntable part is only fixed at the centre, like a record player. There is no support on the outer part of the turntable. There is a gap between the turntable and the main body of the unit. The gap is only about 1mm but it does mean there is a bit of a wobble which is very noticeable when filming up close. To reduce this, it is generally best to keep things as close to the centre as possible, with the weight evenly distributed and with as low a centre of gravity as possible (nothing on tall thin stands, for example).Second, you get what you pay for. The unit feels pretty flimsy and although the description says it will support up to 3kg that feels pretty optimistic. There is no case or anything, so keep the box it comes in to keep the unit safe when storing it.Overall, it's OK for its purpose- tabletop display and filming of small items- and the multiple power options are useful, but keep expectations low. I have given it four stars as it is OK for the price, but if it was more expensive I would have given it three stars.

Easy to use and good value for money - a simple but effective product!
The media could not be loaded. I love this rotating display stand! It's really easy to use and the button options are simple and uncomplicated. Personally, I use it for recording videos of special edition books, as it allows you to take a quick video showing the 360° view of the book rather than taking pictures from all angles. I definitely recommend it for that purpose but there's probably lots of uses for it! It was really good value for money as well, and some of my friends have been inspired to buy one too. There is a quiet buzzing noise when in use (which you can hear in the video), but this doesn't bother me personally as I just mute the video when I post it online.

For operation it is 5 star, but for control buttons it is 1 star
I feel to be extremely stingy for giving this only 3 stars. It does what it is supposed to do.It rotates products / items on a variable speed turntable in a fashion which is perfect for youtubers. The big problem is simply this. How do I use the control buttons and why is this not fully explained in the "owners manual"?After frantically pressing various buttons, it eventually spins slower.Somehow, it spins either right round or backwards and forwards. However, there doesn't seem to be a clear sequence of button presses to activate each function. Also, there is no battery included with this item. And the battery required is neither AAA cell, AA cell, D cell or even C cell. It's an oddball 18650 Lithium cell.Like many others who have bought this turntable, I also went on to buy a flashlamp for about £10 quid which is supplied complete with 2 of the 18650 lithium cells and a charger. In summary, this turntable works great eventually, but it won't "work out of the box". You will have to add or buy other things.

Great little turntable
Great turntable with multi-direction and multi-speed as well as multiple power options. Ideal for photos or videos of smaller products where a 360° view helps.

Great little item
This is exactly what I wanted . Rotation is lovely and smooth and takes the weight too. I can’t hear it and had no comments on the noise but I use at craft fairs so pretty noisy environments anyway . Great value for the money . I run off a phone battery pack and lasts approx four hours spinning on that .Certainly got people looking .
