We were looking for a way to close a curtain. Previous we had used Velcro which required both hands to close it properly. With the magnets we can close them with just one hand. You have to make sure they face the correct way and not sew too close to them.

Another reviewer pointed out that these were very strong magnets. And that is why I purchased them.These are really strong. On one project I did have to double up the layers of fabric so they wouldn't be too strong to pull apart one-handed. My only critique is that the pastic covering could extend a little further. It was a very difficult to get it under the regular foot on my sewing machine. Use a zipper foot and take care not to break a needle.

I ordered these magnets to add to the inside seam of my toddlers blackout curtains, to help them close together in the middle. They work perfectly. I just had to make sure I put them in the right direction so that the magnets stick together well.

I bought these magnets to hold a dust ruffle on to a metal bed frame. They do a great job. They were easy to attach using a safety pin.

I've used these to attach a decorative picnic blanket to a water proof mat. They were easy to sew around and have worked great for their purpose so far- very strong!
