Liquid Fence Deer And Rabbit Repellent Ready-To-Use, Apply Year-Round, 1 Gallon

I find this brand very effective at deterring the abundant deer population in our community. I try to plant deer resistant plants but they eat them anyways. The deer are over populated and starving in our area. I do have some plants planted by the previous owners that I cover with bird netting and I spray. The spray is effectively until it rains hard a few times. I forget to reapply until it’s too late:( To stay effective, the repellent needs to be reapplied every month, it’s a constant battle but this product is affordable and occasionally it’s offered at an unbelievably low price so you have to stock up. Nothing is 100% deer proof or repels them completely but this does a decent job! I like these jugs are premixed and have a sprayer attachment that works well. I don’t think this spray has any harmful chemicals but it smells awful when first applied. After it dries, the scent is barely if at all noticeable.

This stinks!! But it does work and keeps the deer away from my Hosta plants. II have lot of deer that come on to my property but they have left my plants alone. I have used this product for about 2 to 3 summers . I spray the plants every 2-3 days. It does have a terrible smell that lasts a few hours but then the smell goes away. The deer can still smell it though. I don’t spray my vegetables directly. I just spray around not on those plants. My plants are surviving despite those darn deer! I wish I could say the same thing for my fence and other property they destroyed!

My wooded back yard abuts other wooded back yards so there are plenty of deer and rabbits that love to chomp on several of my wife's perennials. Liquid Fence does what it says it will do if you follow the directions and reapply it regularly. My only problem with the product is the spray system. It rarely works, and when it does, it stops working before the container is empty. Because the cap is integral to the sprayer it doesn't come off like a conventional screw-on cap, so I often use a box cutter to cut a hole in the plastic container so I can pour the liquid into a sprayer. It's messy and it's smelly.

I’ve used Liquid Fence for a couple of years and it does deter deer. You’ll need to respray after it rains. It’s not 100% effective but it certainly helps. We have a lot of deer here in NJ. When there is nothing tasty for them to eat they’ll eat anything to fill their bellies. Why only 3 stars? I bought the 1 gallon container with a sprayer. The sprayer never worked. I had to fill a spray bottle to apply. I would have been better off buying the concentrate version.

Our yard is a deer magnet and my hostas never reached their mature size until last summer when I started using the Liquid Fence Deer and Rabbit Repellent pre-mixed spray. I spray the hostas every 3 weeks or so and have not had any deer issues! I have cats and this is safe for animals. It also lasts through rain and the smell is not noticeable after it dries. Ingredients: Putrescent Whole Egg Solids, Garlic, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Potassium Sorbate, Thyme Oil, Water, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum.

Works pretty good but needs to be reapplied after rains. It can be difficult to get close enough to the deer to spray them-- the spray bottle could use from more power or maybe be pressurized to shoot a further distance.- once you spray them the deer tend to stay away until the rain rinses the Liquid Fence off. It smells like death, so that's fun but that is probably what makes it work.

I have been using this for a few months now. I can see deer on the camera by my hedge and they are not eating the hedge - so far so good and the hedge is growing strong which will protect it from the deer better than young shoots.

Hopefully will deter deer from our garden

It seems to be working - which is extraordinary as we have a large area where dear and rabbits can enter.

Bought it for my mother’s garden to get rid of rabbits. Followed the instructions and the rabbits are still there. Waste of time and money.

Didn't stop any rabbits or deer coming onto our property.
