Mason CashRound Cake Caddy with Lid and Carry Handle, 24 cm

When you consider that the materials for this will cost between 75p & £1, it's expensive and the quality isn't great either.The latching system is pretty feeble and not good or trustworthy, it unlatched itself a couple of times with a cake in it, luckily it was only a couple of inches away from the counter top and not a long drop to the floor when it did it. I can't really recommend it, either on price, quality or reliability.Why Mason Cash which do some excellent mixing bowls would want to be associated with this low quality product is quite odd.

Picture the scene. A glorious Christmas cake, lovingly iced, encased in a battered cake box. After the year we've just had though? No more! This lovely cake box not only lovingly displayed my wife's labour of love thanks to its transparent loveliness, but it also has a handy handle for festive cake reverence on-the-go. A triumph!

Nice product but In my opinion not worth the £9.99 I paid. Would say it’s worth more like £5. Not great quality, it’s fairly difficult to clip the sides, the handle is small, whole thing is flimsy overall. I do worry due to this that if I put a standard sponge cake in and try to transport it that that bottom might fall through! But I’m sure cakes and brownies etc will be fine. I have no doubt that I will get lots of use out of it but not sure how long it will last if I’m honest.

I bought one as I have started baking and was really impressed with it and as I started baking more so I bought another one they are ideal for keep cakes fresh even in the fridge really am pleased with both of them they lock easily and stay in place really recommend them

I actually really like the cake caddy, however I have literally just opened and it has a large spilt which is very annoying as I would like to make a cake for my husband's birthday tomorrow eve for him to take to work on Thursday! Very annoying!
