Blade GB 200 Brushless Gimbal Vehicle Part

The media could not be loaded.  This is a short video from my first flight with the Blade GB200 gimbal installed. Nothing fancy, just showing how well it works. There is no actual video of the product itself as it is holding the camera.I just received this yesterday and have only used it once, so far. This is installed on my 350QX2, as my first 350QX had a dreaded "Fly Away" which was very saddening to watch. I purchased the Blade 350QX2 BNF model from my local hobby shop and purchased this gimbal from Amazon.com for my GoPro camera. The gimbal works exactly as it should and is very easy to install. This gimbal looks a lot nicer than my previous one (all wires except 1 are concealed inside the gimbal frame), it is easy to install and super easy to remove without having to unscrew it from the frame.NOTE: You must have the tall landing gear installed on your 350QX or 350QX2 quad in order for it to be able to take-off and land on flat ground. I currently do not have the tall landing gear, but it is being ordered. I currently sit it on two boxes with space in the middle to clear the gimbal for take-off and I just grab it out of the air when I am landing.Overall, this is an awesome product for the price.

I bought this gimbal as a cheaper alternative to the C-GO2 and it worked great! The instructions to set it up with the 350QX3 is not clear but can be figured out easy. If you plan to control tilt from your radio you will need a satellite receiver. I would recommend using with a GoPro camera rather than the C-GO1 as (1) the image quality is much better with the GoPro and (2) the antenna mounted to the bottom of the C-GO1 Can be bothersome if you are taking off/landing in a grassy area. Also if you have a hard landing chances are you will damage the antenna as it sits close to the ground. I ended up buying the C-GO2 but I still would recommend this gimbal if you are on a budget.

The media could not be loaded.  Here is a video with GB200 Brushless Gimbal attached to  350 QX3 RTF  and pitch controlled via Spektrum DX 4 transmitter. Only color and exposure has been tweaked along with music post production. There has been no image stabilization applied post production. I put the QX3 through various maneuvers at various speeds as well as fast turns. Throughout the whole video you will notice very little vibrations and the camera handled very well with the pitch changes and did not produce any shaky video. Though the price is high compared to the numerous other gimbal in the market, this one will product great photography out of the box. Note, the attached video is the first video shot with GB200. This is a high quality product. I will admit it took me about 45 minutes to read instructions and install the wiring and unit onto my quad.

The gimbal itself seams to work adequately. But the installation instructions are terrible. Don't even bother opening the directions. Get on the internet and find some well written directions or buy something else!If it is your first time, be prepared to spend a few hours for installation. If you have been around the block a few times, it should only take about 10 minutes.

When it works, it works ... but it is intermittently randomly rolling the camera 45 degrees to the right and then slowly dialing it back up to level. Buggy firmware? Bad electronics? Disappointed. Looking for a replacement.

Doesn't cosistently work

Great little gimbal, easy to install but bad directions.

I have a 350 qx2 upgraded to 3.0 firmware. Now the gimbal won't work right. Was told to update the gimbal. Tried many times. It will not work. But the worst part is horizon hobby's service. Won't asher the tech help line and when they do they don't have a clue. I have tried to email no answer back. Not happy.
