Really has helpedto know which bales to stack and which to leave out

Bought this late in the hay season last year, so only used it a few times. When we got it out for this hay season, the tip broke off at the plastic ring. I contacted Agratronix, hoping it was repairable and that would cost less than buying a new one. I explained the situation and was told since I had bought it a year ago it would be covered under warranty. They didn't require me to provide extensive documentation of date of purchase or jump through any hoops. I shipped it back to them with a reference number on the shipping label and about a week and a half after my tracking said it had been delivered to the company, I received a new tester. As much as I like the product - it's accurate and easy to use - I am thrilled with the customer service of the manufacturer.

Works well

Right of the package the tip of the probe was lose.. tried to use it on one bale and it completely came off and broke. I am returning it but they will not replace it.

The Haytester is very handy and very easy to use to check the moisture and temperature in the bales of hay.

Product appears to work well haven’t got to use it much because it’s such a dry year. But I did do some test bales just to see if it worked that I knew were wet and it seem to be reading what I thought the bales should be for moisture Content. Biggest problem I have with it is if you leave the battery in it it drains the battery within two weeks.

It's a great tool for our needs. It's quick, accurate and dependable.
