I had a high profile, day long event to record and photograph and it unfortunately rained all day long. Lucky, it was forecasted and I was able to purchase these covers ahead of time. They worked great. It was difficult to change out lenses, but that would be expected when you are trying to keep the rain out of your camera with a cover over your whole setup. Great value, easy to use, and didn’t affect my photos at all. But, my stabilizer accessories would get hung up and had to rely on my own stabilization hacks and do it by hand then use post production to clean it up. Still not as good as the stabilizers, but better that missing the shot or ruining my equipment. It’s definitely worth a purchase for a single or rare use application, but definitely not a permanent solution for bad weather.

This is a lightweight rain, drizzle, snow solution for outdoor photography. It will work to keep water off of the camera, but if you are not careful, the seams could pull apart or split open when inserting the camera. A good thing this cover comes in a two-pack. There are strings with a lock button to cinch the openings closed around the lens and bottom of the camera. The small size is plenty big for a smaller camera. I actually fit it on my full size camera, but would not recommend doing that. Even with the smaller cover on my full size camera, I was able to move the dials and zoom the lens in and out. It required some careful maneuvering, but is possible. Keeping a lens hood on your lens will help keep the lens drier, giving a bit more distance between the edge of the plastic cover and the edge of the lens. Keeping a lens cloth handy will be helpful for any water that may get past the cover to the lens.

A bit larger for my small T7 but it works well in rain most definitely protects your camera. Due to its large size tho you may have a bit of issue keeping the front from covering the lens but once you use the jaw string and get it where you need, you are good to go. Easy to use!
