I have never used another but the PowerBES DC Power Supply was well suited for the task at hand. I needed it to bench test a bank of old computer fans to determine which were not working. It was very easy to understand and use out of the box. It comes with a good variety of load connectors. My one complaint is that among all the connectors there was not a pair of needle (pointed) load connectors. The ones that come with are all alligator type. The wires I was testing were very small and close together so it would have been very useful for this type of testing.

The power supply has performed well. It is easy to use and a small size. Seems to be well made. Accuracy is acceptable. I would buy this power supply again.

Bought this in September of 2020. I love the power supply. Very easy to use. I noticed the AC power cable was broken on both ends about three months after I purchased it from Amazon. It was no big deal until I saw the bare wires. Started to buy one on Amazon since it is a standard computer cable but didn’t want to get stuck again with another inferior product so I just took one off an old computer that was just laying around. I am glad the wires did not come in contact with each other. Probably goodbye power supply.

Just to let other beginners know, DC power supplies are not intuitive. I was sure the darn thing was messed up, but a couple of YouTube videos later and the light bulb went on! At the moment, I only have a couple of minor uses for this thing, but it has worked great so far. AND, because of the small footprint, it is not a hassle to leave on my workbench. Now that I've used it, I'm starting to think of other uses, and times when I wished I'd had one. Good investment for a decent price.

A long time ago I had to build my own power supplies to work on car stereos. I needed to program a gate controller. This little supply worked great. I could monitor the current draw as each function of the gate controller was tested.

I bought 3 units, which I've been using to charge batteries, 2 have failed after a couple of months of use, and no longer turn on (it's not the fuse, I checked).
