Just what I needed!
Years ago the soap dish in our shower was cracked. I had no idea what I was doing and replaced it with what I thought was ok. I learned the hard way that shower and sink soap dishes are NOT the same. As you can see in the photo, the sink soap dish I used has a lip around it to hold water and soap from dripping on the counter. That’s not a good thing in the shower, where if the dish does not drain you end up with a water, bars of soap that turn into mush, and mold. I can’t wait to cut out my failed DIY from 20 years ago and replace the soap dish with this new one. This is a perfect fit into the tile space where the original dish was. I plan to attach it with marine epoxy paste, and then seal it with silicone caulk.

This ceramic soap holder looks pretty cool! Kind of old-timey, which fits the style of my house. Install seems straightforward.
