Long lasting humidity
This system stays damp for a couple of weeks in winter when heat is running, unlike Dampit which has to be refilled almost daily. The main downside is there is no good place to mount it in a fitted case.

I have great difficulty in opening the case. I have to use a spoon or knife to open the case before I can saturate the gauze.
