A lot of buckshot in a short period of time
You will get a high rate of production with this mold. Once you get it up to temperature you will produce good round shot.

High quality but watch temperature
High quality, very well machined. Due to the design, which really can’t be avoided, the lead and mold need to be quite a bit hotter than with standard bullets or slugs. The reason is, if the lead is allowed to cool too fast as it flows through the mold, the lead flowing in the feed to the 2nd or 3rd chamber(s) may solidify prior to filling the lower chambers all the way resulting in lighter / misshaped shot. Once hot enough, it produces quality linked shot. The links of three balls can be easily cut apart if desired. Once you get a rhythm, you can produce quite a bit of shot rather quickly.

The 'Buck' stops here...
I just got the mold and pulled it out to look at it; no 'production' has been done with it yet. So far we're doing alright. It appears that what I've got for my money is a fair deal. I will have to take a pointed diamond sharpener and 'touch out' a couple of small burrs at the top of the mold cavities but that's not critical. Thinking about it now, I could have already just used the tip of my pocket knife to fix that up. The fit of the mold halves seems to be fine and I don't anticipate any problems with poorly matched components or an ill fitted sprue plate; everything appears to line up and fit well. With this sort of mold proper pre-heating will probably be more critical to getting a well formed pour than when casting larger projectiles; smaller cavities will conduct heat away from the lead faster resulting in "weird" castings and poor formation unless the mold temp is sufficient to permit adequate flow time. You can't ding the mold for that really. Just drop your funny shot back into the pot and run it again.I suppose, a follow up report for this product will be in order after a couple hundred rounds or so; that might be a while. In any case, while not being of perfect or of premium quality, this is a perfectly workable shot mold that ought to give plenty of good service for it's price.

00 buck
Nice mold, took awhile to heat up, but worked fine. Poured about 10 lbs. Need to finish in the tumbler

They come without handles
These are terrible for the money $59 on amazon and $25 for handles to make the stupid things work.

Heat the mold
These work well if you put mold on hot plate first. They fill out much better
