MattelWWE NXT Takeover Elite Action Figure Austin Aries with Entrance Gear

As an avid collector & customizer of Mattel WWE Elite action figures, and a fan of Austin Aries: I'm glad I had the chance to pick-up his first ever Elite-articulation figure- especially before he asked for his release and left the company- which means this will be The first and *only* Elite figure of "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived." However, I wouldn't misinterpret that to mean this figure will increase or quickly spike in value- Aries is not an extremely popular character that would warrant such a move in aftermarket value. Frankly, I would actually go as far as to say this figure will probably turn out to be what is known as a "shelf-warmer" at retail stores that carry it- and will be very easy to find.The likeness is on-point; the choice of parts, attire, and design are fitting- though the head & facial expression are not exactly what I would call accurate. I intend to do some slight custom modification, repainting the hairline, eyebrows, and beard. I tend to repaint the eyebrows on nearly all of my Elites, and it's amazing how much a minor tweak like that makes a huge difference. Eyebrows are a major identifying facial feature, and unfortunately Mattel is not the best at painting eyebrows accurately on their WWE figures.Overall, I am quite content with my purchase- and would recommend those interested to definitely pick it up! Worth the price. If you're a "Mint On Card" (MOC) Collector and NXT fan: this figure is for you! I love the packaging and "X"-shaped box & blister card, personally.Great figure, great buy all-around!
