Furgopet Fur Go Pet 00209 Large Dog Deshedder Tool

We have a Shetland Sheepdog and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. We've been drowning in dog hair all over everything. We have about twelve lint rollers but that didn't begin to cope with it. Problem solved. I sit on the floor in front of the TV with the dog between my outstretched legs to keep them from leaving. I start with the bristle brush (get the tangles without pulling) then the pin brush to get down to the skin then I carefully go over the dog with deshedder tool. Careful because those tiny little teeth could be uncomfortable on the skin. I don't try to go down to the skin with that, just over the top. My dogs don't complain and the results are astounding.

Works pretty well, gets lots of fur off of them. Not sure if I keep brushing, will it eventually stop or will the dog be bald?Response from FurGo regarding my question regarding how long and often to brush them:Thank you for your E-Mail. This item works wonderful the best product ever. My yard is full of dog hair when I get done. Doesn’t hurt the dog at all. My dog loves this. Bought a second one for a family member.

Careful- don’t continue to brush in the same area. Great for doodles to thin the hair.

I used this on all 4 of my animals. Some of my animals shed a lot others don’t. But my one yellow lab sheds terribly. More than my white lab. Even more than my cat. Which I know is hard to believe but it’s the truth. I used the deshedder on her outside and what I got off of her looked like a mound of snow. Which was amazing. And to think she sheds like this in my house. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with pets. It will really cut down on the amount of hair you vacuum and sweep.

I have purchased an assortment of grooming tools over the years for my lab/border collie/chow mix. She has a very thick double coat and sheds heavily all year long. We have had several Furminators which have been the most effective but seem to pull on her coat and she would only allow me to groom her for a short period of time. This Fur Go Pet is amazing and half the price of the Furminator. It goes through her thick coat very easily, no pulling or ripping of the fur and really gets the job done. My four-legged child and I are both very happy.
