AMES Blue Max White Liquid Rubber Waterproofer,1 Gal

My Bilco outside basement doors were needing some repair of some sanding and painting. My friend told me about this product for sealing out water that was leaking in on the steps. I figured why not try it so I painted it on all the seams that the doors were sitting on. Wasn't but a day or two it got a good drenching of rain. When I opened the inside dioor to the steps I was a surprise to see absolutely no water on the steps. Worked Great!! now for the last coat of paint and they will work and look like new. Easy to use, water cleanup and paintable.

This product does as advertise. Fairly easy to apply and looks great! Been on the block wall for 1 month and we have had heavy rains. NO LEAKAGE!

This served as a primer for an elastomeric coating, over a weathered modified bitumen roof. It's important that you clean the surface first with a soft wash or light pressure wash to get rid of any accumulated gunk that may block adhesion. But once you've got a dry & clean surface, this stuff sticks like, well, glue. I laid down two coats several days apart. It dried / cured fairly quickly, so I was able to walk on it after 24 hours (after each coat). Rain doesn't seem to hurt it after it's had a few hours of initial cure time. Just get it good and dry before re-coating. I'm now finish coating it with AMES Elastomeric white roof coating, with good results so far.

I used a graco true coat 360. Applies great. Used that tool cause it draws from a cup and didn’t have to waste material in hose line. Applied to a sub grade wall that would get damp after a really hard rain.

Seems to do what it's supposed to. Definitely stinky for a product that's non-toxic and VOC free . I don't recall red guard smelling this bad or taking this long to dry. Smell cleared up after a week or so. Also, can says it dries in 4 hours, It stayed pretty tacky/sticky and wet feeling for over 4 days after application. This was in the desert at 95 weather/5-10% humidity. Lastly, this blue does take extra coats to cover. Too bad this is the only color available without extra shipping time.

I put couple coats on rv slide-out . I'm happy, no more leaks when it storms outside.

Used this to waterproof a window sill in my shower, the previous owners painted it with regular water based paint. 🤦‍♀️ Needless to say, the paint eventually cracked and peeled, so the sill was in desperate need of the proper type of paint for this situation, Blue Max was perfect, I prepared the surface, and applied a few coats, it works great, and no odor, love it!!!

Got another galon to experiment with brush. Stunning luck of i formation. No word states on; Is any solvent available / what kind of if any ( it's possible to thin it with water or anything else? ) I would like to use this paint with an air spray gun- does it need a special equipment / hardware to do so?) Where is MSDS information about this chemical? I was hoping to get all of it along with the product, but NOTHING was attached to it! Taking two stars because of that.
