We decided to upgrade to a California King bed from a Queen as a present to ourselves this Christmas. Since we were changing bed size, we needed new everything. I wanted to get a decent bed frame, but didn't want to spend a fortune.We previously had a Zinus frame with 14" storage underneath, which was very convenient for storage, and I knew I wanted to be able to keep storing the same tubs underneath. I also wanted something with a built-in headboard so I could lean back without pushing the bed away from the wall. According to the specs on the page, this should have checked all the boxes and so I ordered it.Unfortunately, after spending 1.5 hours or so assembling it I double checked the height because it looked suspiciously short and it is actually only 12" of storage space underneath! My storage boxes are all about 13" tall, so they won't fit. The advertisement for this bed is very, very clear about it having 14" of storage space, so I was quite disappointed to find out it was a lie. If it wasn't so hard to take apart (I'm not actually sure it will even come apart) I would likely choose to return it and get one that actually has 14" of space.In addition to the storage space underneath being shorter than advertised, be aware that the slats are over 7" apart. I've never seen a memory foam bed that didn't require at 5" or less between slats. My new bed - a Zoma - requires 3" maximum between slats. Having more distance between slats voids the warranty. I was pretty sure from the pics that it would be insufficient, but I was surprised at just how far apart the slats are and want to make sure that anyone else considering this realizes they probably either need to put plywood under the mattress like I did or use a box spring in order to give sufficient support.Assuming you don't care about the storage or the slat spacing, this does seem to be a pretty sturdy bed. I've only slept on it for one night, but it is quiet and feels solid. It was a pain in the butt to put together, but mostly because I did it by myself - two people would have been easier. Also, a few screws were extremely tight fits and required exceptional force to tighten - and I'm not sure I could ever get them back out again. The wood looks decent from a distance but is definitely cheap fake wood. You could upgrade it with real wood fairly easily though I think. For the price though, this all is about what I'd expect.If it weren't for the false advertising concerning the height under the bed, I would have given this a higher rating. For the price I think it is a pretty good bed, but just be aware that if the storage space sells you on it like it did me, you'll be quite disappointed. I'm going to have to buy 8 bed risers just so I can put my tubs back underneath, and they're going to look ugly and prevent the bed from being pushed all the way against the wall like I'd prefer.

The instructions aren't great. Minimal. There's not a lot and all pieces are not fully illustrated in every diagram.With patience? You'll get a pretty sturdy bed. We're both bigger people and it feels very secure. Time will tell if we like it long term, but so far so good. I looked for over a week for a new simple bed frame after the zinus one just didn't live up the the hype. This is better. A lot better. It makes theirs look like crap.So far it's a good buy.

I was so worried that this would take hours to put together but no. Easy peasy. Tonight will be out first night on it but so far I'm excited.

This bedframe is wonderful, was easy to put together only thing disappointing about the clearance under the frame it is only 12in.

A little frustrating at times but we got it done in about 2 hours. No more creeking noises if we get up in the middle of the night. 😬

Was easy to put together I had like one small issue putting it together. It’s pretty sturdy my 12 yr uses it. I think it’s good for kids or guest rooms

First off I'm a big guy and this frame doesn't move while i am on it very strong and so far no noise, very nice looking also.

The only problem is Instructions are small,really just a diagram (Picture) It was easy for me to assemble But others with out a mechanical back ground may find it challenge, but just take your time its a great buy at 113.52 with tax For the full size bed frame, it takes a lot to empress me, and this frame has, I will have to buy the twin and the Queen...
